Used it to install a Honeywell WiFi thermostat on a system that didn't have a C wire. Worked like a charm no running wires through walls. Attach 2 wires and plug it in.

Due to the fact that my recently purchased smart thermostat needed a c wire I purchased this transformer.Easy to check it’s functional with a volt/Ohm meter before installation & equipped with plenty of wire which I ended up fishing through several walls to thermostat location. All in all, a good transformer for my application at a reasonable price.

I want to give it a five. It should have a 5. Unfortunately, I'm worried about how it was packaged, and what that packaging did to the wire where it meets the plug. That is a lot of stress to have going on before I even received it. It could easily cause trouble and defect.If there were no worries about the plug / wire, it would be a five. Straight up.I have had the new (proper) wire, to run for my new thermostats, for over a year. But, both need to be moved if I'm going to go through that trouble; so it's never been done. With this product, I can now control my thermostat from anywhere, because that C wire is ALL so important.Installation of this wire into the new thermostat was simple, the new thermostat was a little convoluted and the app/pairing process was even worse. It was all worth it though. This wire was the easiest part.The wire is crazy long, so you should be able to span from your thermostat to a number of outlets of your choosing. The only thing, if you don't want to look at the wire, you may as well take the hard route and run one through the wall.

Did have any instructions on how to hook it up or the wires labeled witch wire was what. Other then that everything was as expected

I needed a power supply for a thermostat and a wired doorbell for testing. This did the trick and worked perfectly. If using this for home just note that cord is REALLY long!

**Review:**The C-wire adapter worked perfectly for my Ecobee thermostat, which initially had no C-wire. My existing thermostat only had four wires (G, R, Y, and W), so I made the following connections:- **G to Green** terminal,- **R to Rh**,- **Blue to Y1**,- **White to W1**.I connected one wire from the adapter to the **C terminal** and the other to **Rc**. Additionally, I had to create a jumper between **Rc and Rh**. After these connections, the thermostat powered up and has been working flawlessly.However, the biggest downside is the complete lack of documentation. There are no clear instructions provided, making the installation process confusing, especially for those unfamiliar with wiring. It would be great if they provided a simple guide to help with setup.If you’re comfortable with DIY projects and wiring, the adapter is great, but be prepared to figure things out on your own.
