The cable wouldn’t slide inside the case. Lubed it over and over again and still wouldn't slide. Many frays in the cable that’s showing so I suspect there’s frays inside the case preventing it from sliding. Basically junk that I had to throw away.

Pain in the butt changing this cable out on my 08 Razr 800. The work and design was bad enough but it was very frustrating to find out that this part did not match the vehicle’s mounting bolt threads. This problem would be easily solved by simply including the mounting bolts (2). I had to remove and discard the new bracket and install the new cable in the old bracket to make it work. Other than that my review would have been positive instead of negative.
