You're paying for this launcher and accessories, but you're also paying for great customer service. Looked into third party and modified launchers but ended up setting it on this. This nicely because of the performance and color scheme . I tried to mess around with it and trick it out and much to my ego so chagrin, I broke It. I reached out to byrna and within a week they already had my launcher on the way back to me. The person I spoke to over email was great and very helpful and catered to every request I had. Well since it was sent back to me so early I expected that there was nothing they could do and it was broke but when I picked it up it felt perfect. In no way shape before had it ever felt like this. I was like what is going on. Is this even mine ? Then I inspected it and yeah it was very same much or I sent to them. I had to take it outside soon as I could. I shot it. unbelievable! It shot so smoothly so accurately I would buy this product again just for the service!

I bought this because I have the the Byrna SD-XL and I wanted a bigger gun to have. I like Byrna. I think they are a good company. I was disappointed when I got the gun. There was a lot of plastic. Then when I went to try it, I added an air cartridge and when I pulled the trigger I could hear air leaking out of the chamber. Ok so I thought I put it in the wrong way so I added another cartridge and the same thing happened. Also you have to know what way to throw the cartridge in. In the video they make it look so easy but in practice when I placed the cartridge in sometimes it would get stuck as I was shutting the door and I’d have to play with it to get the cartridge placed in correctly. Maybe I just got a bad unit. The bag it came with was nice though. I liked the look of it and it was not heavy. Just disappointed especially for the price of it.

After firing off a few rounds and seeing the dents left behind in some split wood targets, I’m buying the small-arm for my wife. Thing is awesome, American made and easy to fire. The accuracy is great for the solid rounds, but somewhat questionable when using the eco friendly ones. That inaccuracy is due to the round itself, as it’s not a perfect sphere. Pit the defense rounds in and you’ll hit the bullseye every time!

It's good polymer & not so much "a plastic". It has a solid feel & a significant but comfortable weight. The magazine retention & spring for the main extended magazine is bad; especially the inner spring. What I find most vexing is that the ext mag is Not a Byrna made. It's Tippmann label. The handle, trigger & safety switch is good to decent. What's really bad is the forehand grip assist. It looks & feels cheap. Far too small in length & width. Especially for someone with large man hands. If you have small hands or a child then it would feel ok. Having a spare magazine & being located underneath the stock is cool. But it is uncomfortable & gets in way and rubs against your inner forearms.. 800 retail makes this overpriced by 200. The case is good but the TCR Rifle needs a sling attachment. The main magazine is terrible which is really important!The Byrna TCR also arrived with gouges, scratches & wavy grooves above the trigger- between the large TCR lettering & Byrna logo..
