The whole byrna launcher system is amazing. Fortunately I have not had to use it in a self defense situation but have launched a lot of practice balls through it including the pepper balls. Accurate and lots of scent.

Everything Byrna does is high quality. These guys will envelop the target in a cloud of disabling gas.Keep away from kids and do not eat them.

These pepper balls worked perfectly in my SD launcher. There no performance issues, and due to an errant puff of wind in my face, I can attest to the potency of the pepper mix within!

The only issue I had with these little pepper balls is that after a few hours after I received this item in my mail I had the pepper balls loaded into my clip and I noticed that there was some dust on my clip, but I didn’t think anything of it. That is until I started noticing a burning sensation on my skin. So one of these pepper balls came apart inside my gun and made a huge mess.So before you load these into your clip, check each ball closely to make sure there isn’t any cracks, or any other gaps or holes that would allow the pepper dust to escape.
