About this item

  • WHAT'S IN THE BOX: (10 ct.) 8g CO2 Cartridges. Including 9 standard 8g CO2 cartridges and 1 CO2 cartridge including oil for maintenance.
  • EASY TO USE: Simply install the oiler cartridge like any other 8g CO2 cartridge and fire away! The CO2 with Oil cartridge does all the work while you fire.
  • CAPACITY: Each CO2 cartridge will be good for 15-20 rounds.
  • PLEASE NOTE: This pack of CO2 cartridges includes one marked cartridge that contains CO2 + Oil. We recommended using this CO2 + Oil cartridge every 5th cartridge to maintain lubrication and optimal performance. The oil cartridge is not always labeled and is placed in the box facing the opposite direction as the other 9 cylinders. The oiler cartridge can be used just the same as the other CO2 cartridges
  • COMPATIBILITY: 8 Gram CO2 Cylinders are compatible with the Byrna SD / EP & HD Models.
  • Not compatible with Byrna LE, SDXL, HDXL or Launchers with Byrna Boost Installed.

Note: The cap will require very little pressure from the tool and should spin with little to no resistance. Continue turning until you begin to feel resistance against the CO2 Cartridge. From this point, continue tightening 1/4 turn further.

Do not over tighten the cap.

  • While the CO2 cartridge will be enough to power 20+ rounds, once the CO2 is pierced, even if it is not fully exhausted, it should be replaced by an unused cartridge before the launcher is stored.

HOW TO INSTALL YOUR NEW LAUNCHER’S CO2 CAP?

  1. Put the launcher in SAFE mode (if equipped with a safety), remove the magazine and make sure there is not a projectile in the breech.
  2. Point the barrel in a safe direction. Remove the CO2 cap using the cap tool (built into magazine base).
  3. Insert a new unused CO2 cylinder into the CO2 chamber and use your finger to push the cylinder firmly to the back of the chamber.
  4. Begin threading the CO2 cap by hand to prevent cross-threading.
  5. Use the CO2 cap tool to continue tightening the cap.
  • It is recommended to keep an unpunctured cylinder in your launcher at all times for self-defense purposes. Punctured cylinders within your Byrna Launcher will leak over time.

These are a lot less expensive than buying from the Byrna site or even the local shooting range. Great buy for the quantity supplied. Also, the Oiler is actually identified on its cartridge so it cannot be confused with the CO2 cartridges.

They work fine but being proprietary they overpriced them, of course.

Good value for the money and also you get one bottle that is oil base for lubrication for the gun I assume that is what it is I intended for.

Although I really like my Byrna SD. These 8g CO2 cartridges are expensive. Compared to other brands. The functionality is easy. Front load.
