We especially love using fold-over elastic for finishing the edges of mesh fabric for pockets in purses and bags. Not working with mesh fold-over elastic is perfect for finishing a neckline or wristbands on a special outfit. It also beautifully finishes the edges of diapers or Diaper covers to securely fit your special baby. 20mm wide, nylon. Machine wash warm, do not bleach. Tumble dry at medium heat.

I have been using foldover elastic for sewing undies recently. I have used the more readily available 5/8" foe, but it is definitely tricky to use and takes some practice and experimenting! I was able to get a nice result and much more easily with this slightly wider foe. Because of the width, you have a little more room for error. And it looks really nice, too. This foe has a shiny side, but I chose to use the matte side. By this time I have learned to apply the elastic, stretching it by eye as needed, for the first application, then folding it over and not stretching it particularly for the final side. This has worked for me. I used it for the hip and leg areas on the undies, which I made from scraps I had left over from old projects. It has been a good experiment, all wearable, and have gotten somewhat more skilled as I go along. So, I really like this wider product! My only comment would be that for my project, it takes the whole 2 yd. with only a small piece left over. I have very little to test on for the project or I would run out. You don't want to piece the sections. I know that a very large roll is available, but I didn't want to buy that much at this time. The undies are quite small, so it is surprising how much elastic you actually need. The size made is about a size 5 or 6 US ladies. I would use this again.
