I like that it's fits in my small to medium sauce pans to my larger pot to steam my broccoli and baby carrots. Basically i will be able to use it in any pot thats deep enough that i can cover completely. It didn't have any rust and washed easily. Only used it once so far and my broccoli came out pretty good. The legs are a bout an inche and a half off the bottom so gives plenty of room where water doesn't touch the food while steaming. This will also be great for when I want to steam a 3-4 tamales instead of microwave them. I can now even steam some of my shrimp. I will now be able steam all kinds of goodies. Hopefully this will last me a long time.

Will buy another, the next size up, for other pans.Perfect!The beauty of these is the edges are not thin and able to cut fingers like some I’ve bought, and the feet are permanent, which is so better than the ones where you attach the feet.All in all, don’t buy cheap copies, these are 100% the best - so much so, I’ve bought a larger one as well.

I've always purchased cheap steamer baskets, so consider what I'm used to. This steamer basket is the heftiest, sturdiest one I've ever bought. It's large, the leaves overlap well, the feet and stem seem to be attached very well. In fact, my package was slightly damaged in transit (sorry, Amazon) and when I pulled the box out of the envelope, one of the feet was sticking through the cardboard. I expected a problem when I took it out of the box, but everything was completely perfect. I really wish I'd bought one like this a long time ago.

This is an efficient little strainer for rinsing and/or steaming vegetables! I use it to steam up GIANT ARTICHOKES from Amazon Fresh, and it holds up well, cleans good and stores easily. I can only fit one giant artichoke in the basket but then again, the chokes is giants LOL. Delivered quickly and packaged well, as usual. A good value for the price, too. No issues at all, just a good stainless steel steamer basket. By the way, I like my artichokes with Matri Di butter, melted with herbs and crushed garlic, a touch of pink sea salt and freshly ground black pepper - makes you wanna cry, it tastes so friggin' good, y'all!!!!!

The magnet sticks to it tightly, which tells me it’s not stainless steel. The metal (on the one I got) was not shiny like in the picture, it seemed like it was used and lost it’s shine by being exposed to boiling water. The legs, the screws and the ring that holds the folding leaves in place are certainly not stainless steel, since they have no shine at all. It serves it’s purpose though, it steams your veggies super-fast. Having longer legs than most steamers of this size, you can add more water in the pot so you don't have to keep adding water in the middle of cooking. I recently bought a better quality steamer on Bed Bath and Beyond website and replaced this one. You can tell just by looking at it, it’s in a different class….and the magnet doesn’t stick at all, on any part of this BBB steamer. I’ll keep this Amazon one as a backup.

Works very well for steaming dumplings and vegetables for my diet lifestyle. The metal cools down quickly when removed from Instant Pot. Also, materials which is stainless steel and fits perfectly in my pots. It folds up totally easy and is super easy to clean. It makes cooking so much easier because I don’t have to keep eye on it, I just heat them over the water that’s beneath the steamer for a few minutes and they’re ready to eat.
