Since it arrived with rust already on it, I returned it. I will say it appears to be a very sturdy piece. I do wish it had a way to lock the shovel or tool in place.

The bracket is really well made but unfortunately it is WAY to small to mount a normal shovel with. the shaft of the shovel close to an inch to wide for the bracket. I tried several different shovels, all with the same results.

Spring is strong as hell. Welded this to the side of my dump truck to hold a shovel. It does a great job holding it in place.
