I wanted a brighter light for my 5th wheel's basement area and I wanted it to be motion activated so that the light would come on when I opened the door. This was perfect for that purpose. It's much my brighter than the stock LED cargo light and was super easy to install. The 12v DC wires in my 5th wheel are black (positive) and white (negative). The wires on this light are red (positive) and white (negative). Hook white to white and black to red. I only bought one to see how I liked it but it's so nice that I'm going to buy 3 more...2 for rear storage/basement area and 1 for the other side of my front/main basement. The photo that Amazon has in this ad is for the non-motion sensor version but I did in fact receive the motion sensor version as the title of this ad states.
