The ButtKicker Mini Concert was created especially for studio musicians, home studios, or performers who need to hear the lows, but don't need the full on power of the ButtKicker Concert unit. Great for keyboard players, lighter duty drum use. Every player on stage, and every sound engineer can have just the right level of bass, without airborne sound waves.

I did some shopping and was about to by the larger concert series .. glad I didn’t.With the Fosi sub amp ( @2-4ohm) banana clip ends and male to female banana extension… this thing rocks. I only need to turn the amp up about a quarter of the way and it gives me unreal “ bottom” endOnly rattles (as I’ve read others complain) when you turn it up to uncomfortable levels . I can not see why a drummer would need anything larger.

Easy hook up. Buy the appropriate amp that can drive 2 ohms. I have a feeling the ohm imbalance is why these are getting too hot, for folks that had bought it.Plenty of power. Could not see where the bigger wattage version of this would ever be needed. I have mine set at 1/4 volume and it is plenty, it doesn’t produce much noise.I bought a Fosi amp ( plenty of power) banana clip ends and a 6’ female to male extension. Easy hook up. My drum module has seperated outs for each drum. I used a rca to 1/4” cable to complete the hook up.Works very nicely!

Work but then turns off randomly, but when it works it’s make playing a grand experience, almost like playing in a big stadium.

Bought the BK Mini Concert to replace a Buttkicker Gamer 2 that cracked at the hinge, it didn’t work well for my seat, but it did work well for my pedals. Bought another Gamer 2 for the seat.

Worked better than i thought it would. Pretty powerful. I used zip ties to put it under my seat and use it witu sim racers. Same audio channels as my headphones. Its more powerful and nicer than my subpac

This thing does it’s job as it should. I’ve tried other transducers example the Dayton, and not had good luck. First one blew and my second one is on its way out within a month. This Buttkicker is a keeper; the size is just right for my 80/20 Sim rig and the rumble produces excellent Feel. Easy bolt on to profile. It does cost more but I can see why. It’s worth it.

A pretty well known issue with these is that if you turn them up to where you get meaningful interaction in Sim Racing they overheat and the internal protection kicks in after about 15 minutes. You can manage it and get longer play if you work out a way to drastically tune out lower frequencies, below 30hz so that they are occasional (e.g. big bumps) and not really constant (low rumbling road noise, rpm, and engine vibration - which typically drives a lot of low frequencies) so at the end of the day you can turn the amp up to the point where you get good feedback while you're driving, but you're tuning out a nice lumpy feeling at idle. I have this mounted under my seat and have added a 110v 4" duct fan right below it blowing into a tube that partly surrounds it so that it's constantly got some air flow around it. This works pretty well.

I haven been an apartment dweller for the past couple of years, while previously my homes included dedicated theater spaces. These units cannot replace a great sub system, but they can renew enjoyment of movies when those are not possible. Sound engineers have put a lot of material in their movies for us to enjoy, some things that 90% of the planet will never discover without the equipment to reproduce it. I purchased four of these and mounted to the back seating frame of four theater style paliser recliners. They are powered by a SVS designed amp with parametric eq and sub harmonic processing. They complement my main system perfectly and for me, bring the smile back when a spaceship passes overhead, or a bad guy gets his due. There is something special that goes on in my head when I can feel it in my seat. The buttkickers cannot and should not be a replacement for a high quality sub, like my SVS PB12 plus 2, which will blurr your vision in a particularly enjoyable way. In an apartment this is not acceptable while being a good neighbor. The buttkickers are a great addition, and will remain in use when we get to our new home. Worth the money.
