We have been ordering this for our school for about 3/4 of the year. Prior to that, we use a school supply company and paid about 20% more. This is just as good as the prior products. Good quality. Easy to tear. We use for anything

I ordered the white roll of butcher paper. It's as described on the page: unwaxed & thicker than I expected. The end of it was secured with what appeared to be regular scotch tape, which I removed without any trouble at all -- none of the paper lifted off with the tape.I cut a 4" slice off the end to play with. It was a satisfying cut with the scissors, and it didn't tear at all when I did so. I wrote on each side of it with a marker and it didn't smear or bleed through much at all to the other side. Importantly, the paper roll had no odor at all.I keep butcher paper for freezing meats & veggies, but I also use it for anything else I have the need for. I've used it to make birthday banners for my grandkids, drawing or sketching, wrapping, crafts, etc. It can be helpful at times to have such a large size & amount of paper.This roll of paper only has the two removable plastic caps on each end. I do have a butcher paper dispenser this will fit on, but if you're expecting this to come with any kind of dispenser you will be disappointed. It's just the roll wrapped in clear plastic. Luckily it isn't awkward to cut what you need with scissors in this form as the paper is thick enough to get a smooth cut.At about $17 for the roll when I ordered, this seems to be a decent value for what you get. It will probably last my household for about a year, even with 11 grandkids who will want to use it too! I would recommend it if this is something you're looking for.
