Medium-Duty Type TL fuse for residential motor circuits in kitchens, workshops, garages, utility rooms or any circuit with motors, relays or solenoids. This fuse threads into fuse receptacle. Threaded fuse type: Edison Base (brass threads). Not interchangeable with Rejection Base (porcelain threads) type. Medium-duty (TL) category plug fuse. The medium-duty fuse (TL) has a time-delay feature for use on motor circuits. Plug fuses are rated for a maximum of 125Vac. TL three pack (PK3) version (blister pack). Plug fuses are often used in residential and industrial branch circuit and motor protection. Fuses are used to protect furnace blower motors, pumps, power tools, garage door openers, etc. Motor protection fuses are usually used in conjunction with branch circuit protection. The fuse is often located in a box cover unit. Plug fuses provide a compact and inexpensive method to prevent damage to electrical motors. They help reduce downtime and lower maintenance costs by opening the circuit when a dangerous overload is present. When used for residential branch circuit protection, fuses are typically located in the main fuse panel.

I have a sawdust collector system for my woodshop. The collector/vacuum is wired in with my overhead lights and uses 4 of these fuses. One had blown and I could not find one locally. I ordered these and even though it took 2 weeks to come in the mail, it is what I needed to be able to get back to work. thanks!

I cannot explain how my review was connected to this product listing because I did not order time-delay fuses -- and as I write this review time-delay fuses are the type shown and described in this listing. In reality I ordered all fast-acting fuses but I cannot find a listing for fast-acting fuses by the seller Ed's Variety ... ?Maybe the seller changed the listing after I placed my order? Perhaps because he ran out of fast-acting fuses and now he has only time-delay fuses to sell. This would also explain why half the fuses I received are fast-acting (Type W) while the other half are time-delay (Type TL).I actually ordered two sets of 4 fast-acting fuses for a total of 8, but I received 4 fast-acting and 4 time-delay fuses. I did not complain about this to the seller because in my situation I can actually substitute the time-delay fuses for fast-acting fuses without risking the electrical wiring overheating and burning my place down. But it would have been better if the seller had fulfilled my order properly.The fuses themselves look fine to me. I haven't tried using them yet, but at least they are all the correct Edison Base size and all appear new and in perfect condition, so they will probably work correctly. At least I hope so.

Shipped on time, and as described. I live in a house with old wiring and we occasionally overload and need to replace the fuses- these are great and I've found that after replacing the (VERY OLD) current fuses we've not had any blow outs- of course that's also because we've learned not to have the microwave on while using the blender and the toaster at the same time :)

I have an old house that still has a circuit board with these types of fuses. They can be tricky to find these in stock at the big box stores. How convenient to find these in varying amperes online, at a reasonable price. I ordered several to keep for emergency use. The one I used immediately worked just fine.
