Product Description

Bussmann SL-15PK4 15 Amp Time Delay Loaded Link Rejection Base Plug Fuse, 125V UL Listed, 4-Pack , Blue

From the Manufacturer

SL fuse for residential motor circuits in kitchens, workshops, garages, utility rooms or any circuit with motors, relays or solenoids. The rejection base threads prevent a larger amp fuse from being used. Example: A 30 amp fuse cannot be installed in a 20 amp receptacle because of the different sized threads. Medium-duty fuse. These fuses thread into fuse receptacles. Threaded fuse type: Rejection Base (porcelain threads). Not interchangeable with Edison Base (brass threads) type. Medium-duty (SL) category plug fuse. The medium-duty fuse (SL) has a time-delay feature for use on motor circuits. Plug fuses are rated for a maximum of 125Vac. SL three pack (PK3) version (blister pack). Plug fuses are often used in residential and industrial branch circuit and motor protection. Fuses are used to protect furnace blower motors, pumps, power tools, garage door openers, etc. Motor protection fuses are usually used in conjunction with branch circuit protection. The fuse is often located in a box cover unit. Plug fuses provide a compact and inexpensive method to prevent damage to electrical motors. They help reduce downtime and lower maintenance costs by opening the circuit when a dangerous overload is present. When used for residential branch circuit protection, fuses are typically located in the main fuse panel.

Slow blow fuse works great used for window air conditioner. I choose fuses over breakers. Fuses never fail and don’t wear out.

A lot less expensive than Home Depot who where out of this type of fuse and only had a variety back that was way over price with limited choices of fuses that I needed

We had a blown fuse and my husband went to countless stores in search of this exact fuse. Some stores had similar ones, but the weren't the exact same and they didn't work with our fuse box. He finally found these on Amazon, and even though the picture looked the same as the one that was blown, he didn't have his hopes high that they would be the ones we needed. Other store had advertised this fuse, but when he got to the store, it was not the same one. we ordered and waited for them to arrive. When they arrived they looked a little different, but were the same type of fuse and worked! Very satisfied that we now have power with this purchase!

I have used this brand of fuses for many years and am very satisfied with performance. You never know when a fuse will blow so you must keep some on hand at all times.

If your place has is as old as mine, then these fuses are a necessity. Really hard to find anywhere else near me. We've used 2 already from blowing fuses (laundry machine/fans) and these work just as described. Will definitely be re-purchasing soon when more fuses are inevitably blown in this old as heck apartment.

4 for the price of what 2 usually costs at Canadian Tire. Great value. Work as they are supposed to.

For the price it is worth buying. I use my cell phone several hours a day and my hands get tired and so it is nice being able to clamp the holder onto my coffee table while I sit on my sofa writing in my notebook and having both hands free. I also use it to clip onto my kitchen table, and even in bed I clamp it to a pillow so that I do not have to hold my phone. I have have clamped it a border fence while out gardening and to my deck while sitting outside. So for me it comes in very handy. The down side of using it it I would say is that the long adjustable arm is kind of hard to bend. It is similar to bending the arm of a gooseneck lamp, except it is stiffer and harder to bend. But that is good because it is strong and holds the weight of the cell phone very well. It is strong and well made. The two clamps, one on each end are also strong and secure. The bottom one that clamps to the table holds it very securily. And the top clamp hold the phone securily. If mine ever breaks I will be buying a new one. For the $7 it is certainly worth it.

My fuse box loves these fuses, it's like they were made for each other. These fuses may be slow to blow because of the time delay, but when they blow, they always cut off the power completely. I mean completely, it's like they're the sheer essence of a fuse, well, at least this type of fuse with a screw-in base. The time delay lets me start up my some of my less frequently used "home" appliances that would blow a faster fuse because the appliances initially draw a lot of current when the switch is thrown. I'm not sure there's a more reliable fuse out there, I haven't looked. But until I work out the bugs in my lithium-6 enrichment centrifuges, I will continue to purchase these reliable fuses from Bussman.
