This fuse worked great.Added inline from the alternator to the battery when i upgraded the alternator. This fuse even blew out as expected when i accidentally arced the back lug of the output on the alternator. Saved the battery/alternator/electrical components. Now i know to keep a spare....

Bussmann (BP/AMG-175-RP) 175 Amp High Current fuse, Purchased this as a spare to keep in the glove box of my 2007 Chevy Tahoe should the mega-fuse every blow out. This fuse is most likely to be blown if you are getting a jump start or giving a jump star to someone else and the cables are crossed.
