Have insalled (3) of the eyedro units and a handfull of competitor devices. Eyedro's detailed insatallation guide, device simplicity and versatility set the bar. The user interface could use a sleeker design but is layed out well with great metrics for almost any electrical monitoring application. There speedy, knowledgable customer service was unexpected. The tech went above and beyond in solving my issue.

The system itself and the web portal is actually pretty good, the readings seem accurate compared to checking with a multi-meter against it. The WiFi adapter in it is really terrible. It will randomly lose communication with the WiFi, even when I have adjusted one of the APs closer and checked the signal strength, even at near full signal strength it will still randomly drop the connection. This is not going to be reliable or worth the cost if it can't simply stay connected to the WiFi to record the data. If you really want to use one of these, get the ethernet connected version and avoid the WiFi version.

We needed to determine how much power we were using in our business to determine if we had enough capacity to add more equipment. Purchased one unit, and had it connected and running within an hour of it arriving. We instantly noticed that we had surges of power usage in our opertion, and due to how simple and cheap the units were, we purchased multiple more units the next week. We can now review power consumption from the main feed into the building for monitoring total usage, however we are know placing units on all our larger circuits connected to our equipment so we can get a real understanding of eletrical draw from our lines (i.e. air conditioners, chillers, production equipment). I can't imagine how anyone could possibly rate this anything less than 5 stars. We compared amp draw readings to our maintenance teams readings directly from the feeds and they were spot on. AWESOME TOOL!

insulting customer support, horrible documentation, sent it back. Don't bother with this crap.Also it doesn't work on anything but a 240V system, if it even works at all. I couldn't get it to connect.Don't believe these people.
