This tool was so easy to use. Chops the ice easily. Well worth the money.

I did a lot of ice chopping with this, and it does the job well. If you’re looking for a light tool with a sharp-edged blade, this isn’t it. It does its work with weight and might. Clearing ice is no easy task, but this tool is effective. Nice long handle, easy on the back. Would buy again, although I expect this one to last a long time. Most satisfied.

I never write reviews, but I had to in this case. This Bully sidewalk ice scraper is exactly what you want it to be - no frills, works great, hefty enough to get the job down but not overly heavy or bulky. It's so good at its job it's fun to use!

Solid steel construction means it has held up for us for 5 Alberta winters. It has just finally reach the end of its life whereby the blade is starting to bend as the weld to the handle. It is very heavy, but that transfers into performance helping blast away large chunks of ice per chop. Will definitely be buying again to replace current unit.

Nice tall handle ..! I’m 6’0” and I don’t have to stoop to cut ice. Impressive ice chipper. I’m thinking this will last me quite a few years. Fair price for a good value ice chipper for canadas winter.I highly recommend.

I purchased this item 2 years ago assuming there would be ice in and around my parking space where I live. I had a chipper many years ago at my home before I downsized to a condo. But then after the move, I couldn't find the ice chipper. After the move, there was an ice storm and since there is no parking garage, needless to say, there was a lot of ice underneath and around my car posing to me a risk of falling. I purchased this Bully Tool Scraper knowing that it would do the job. It is fairly heavy, and it does have a long handle which will help with the leverage of using this tool. I put it away in the event should there be an ice storm this year. Where I live, we generally get ice storms each year. I am just glad I purchased it and am ready for the next ice storm.

It's heavy enough to break the ice yet not too heavy to manipulate. This is a very useful tool for the winters.

I really like this tool. It is very solid and heavy for its size (not too heavy for the average person, but heavier than say a garden hoe) and you need this so it will drive through the ice. I only wish it was a tad longer with a wider blade.

This is an amazing tool and has a wide handle which is great comfort for doing alot of ice chipping. Heavy weight and is well made all metal with nice smooth powder coating. It is not sharp but uses the weight to smash the ice. You actually don't want sharp as it will damage the concrete or patio stones. Well made will last a lifetime I would imagine.

Driveway was pure ice from freezing rain the night before and this tool broke through the ice with no difficulty. The ice was around half an inch thick. At the end of the driveway it was an inch - 2 inches thick from the snow plow and I still had no problem breaking it up. No regrets, definetely worth the money.

Looks and feels pretty heavy duty. The weld is not the prettiest thing, but it looks solid enough. The thickness of the steel both in the blade and in the handle inspires confidence, both for effectiveness in breaking ice and in long-term durability.Used this to clear thin ice as well as pretty thick ice patches after we had a day in the 50s with heavy rains, followed by a couple of single digit nights and sunny, 20s days. Most of the ice got scraped easily off the concrete driveway and paths, with very little effort in pushing. Some more stubborn and thick patches needed some pounding to loosen them up. So far, probably most every scrapper would work about the same. And for this easy ice the only disadvantage of this scrapper is that it's relativity narrow, requiring more passes to scrape large areas. And then I came to tackle the melted snowmen that the kids have built on the edge of the driveway. These snowmen didn't fare well with the aforementioned rain, and worse yet got run over quite a few times when entering and exiting the garage, really compacting the snow. The ice there reached well over 4 inches in thickness of well compacted ice that was stubbornly hanging on to the rough (broomed texture) concrete of the driveway. Some energetic pounding later, the ice was in pieces and the scraper looked none the worse for wear.Same story with another compacted patch on the corner of the driveway where it meets the road, where the city snowplowed drifts got run over every time a car entered or exited the driveway. For this type of ice the narrower blade of this scraper helped in concentrating the force to a smaller ice patch, making the job easier.

I bought this product in 2011. Bottom line I needed a new ice chopper. I already had an ice chopper but it was small, lightweight with a wooden handle and you worked up a sweat to get the job done. The Bully Tool 92200 easily did the job. It was lightweight and easy to handle. I'm very happy with it.It's now 2014. We had a blizzard and deep freeze (like everyone across the country). I had a huge pile of frozen ice that needed to be removed from the driveway. Without thinking, I grabbed my old wooden ice chopper and went to work. It was like working with a toothpick. Anyway, I'm working up a sweat and chopping the ice when the blade snaps completely off the wooden handle. Then I remembered the Bully Tool Ice Chopper. It was going through the ice like butter and/or chopping a head of lettuce. I was in awe. I completed the job in no time without breaking a sweat. What a wonderful piece of equipment. I just thought an ice chopper was an ice chopper - wrong. So I felt obligated to write this review. In 2011, I paid $20.00. In 2014 it's now selling for $32.00. I'm glad I purchased it when I did. But if I ever needed an ice chopper I'd buy the Bully Tool 92200 without hesitation.
