Modified my rain gutter drain with 1 1/2" pvc pipes and plug this strainer at the end to deter rodents accessing a path to my roof and it is a perfect strainer for the application. Also if it ever gets clogged, I can just pull it off and clear the debris.

This product is advertised as 1.5” slip fitting, it is a male 1.5” fitting on the end. You will need a coupler to connect it to 1.5” plumbing

What can I say? It’s black and it strains water.

Ordered 1 1/2 screen that’s suppose to fit inside a 1 1/12 fitting. This is to big to fit inside the fitting and to small for a pipe to slide over. If your needing exact fit like I did don’t waste your money or time.

A thing to note is this is the same size as pipe. So if you're going in a fitting, you'll be fine. Otherwise you'll need a coupler. I have a 1" pipe and went with a larger strainer and used a reducing coupler. It gives more screen area as I've had them clog before and wanted more surface area. So far, no issues at all.

Awesome shipping time great packaging part was shown in picture as looking to be threaded but was advertised as Slip in so to those wondering it does not have the threads on it it is a slip in and is perfect fitment for a 1 1/2 ""bulkhead

had oddball use, so it worked. was not threaded and did not match pvc sizing to glue. I used a SS repair band to connect it, and it worked fine.
