The WYZBEN Replacement Lamp FML-27EX-D fit my light as indicated and is somewhat bright for a 27-watt bulb. I actually have two lights with these bulbs that I use as grow lights for my Bougainvillea tree.

I bought my first full spectrum lamp about 15 yrs ago - I only had to replace the bulb twice in that time. The first time I found a replacement at a local department store & it was just as good as the original.Initially I used the lamp as a bedside end table lamp - but then it ended up on the living room table as a project lamp, because it's so bright & perfect for being able to see in detail.The second bulb burnt out recently & after pricing bulbs, and looking at my worn out lamp with marks from leaky nail polish remover bottles and other project messes, I decided to pay about $25 for an entirely new lamp. I got the "Lavish Home Sunlight Desk Lamp, Light Wood Grain (26")" here on Amazon. The first thing I noticed was that the bulb was not as bright as my old lamp.I had already shopped bulbs before buying the lamp & noticed a huge range in price. I assume most of the cheaper lamps are similar to the one that came in my lamp. I'm not convinced you're going to get the best bulb by paying $40 either - most of them don't list the lumen. I noticed a few brands that do & I bought this bulb because it was the brightest bulb I could find. The next best thing was a Verilux which is a little more expensive. If brightness is you priority - this is the bulb. I put it in and it's definitely brighter than the generic one that came with the lamp. I put that one away as a back up when this one burns out.Here's another thing to know when shopping for FML-27 bulbs. If you are replacing a bulb for a Verilux lamp - they have designed their lamps so that only a Verilux bulb will fit into their lamps - BUT a Verilux bulb will fit into any other lamp that takes a FML-27 4 tube bulb. So if you have a Verilux lamp make sure you get the right bulb. Otherwise they all work the same for everything else.Hopefully this is helpful for anyone that needs to replace their old lamp bulb. It was a little confusing when I first started shopping!The only issue I had with my order was that the first time I never got a tracking number & it never came. I had to contact the seller & they gave me a refund. So then I had to order again & the price had gone up a couple of dollars. The second order came quickly and with no issues & so far I'm 100% happy with the bulb. I can't say anything about longevity because I just got it, but if that becomes an issue, I will be back to update.Overall, I'm a happy customer at this point.

I've been looking for a replacement bulb for my favorite Sharper Image desk lamp for years. I finally found it! I just installed it in the lamp, and it's working great. The brightness and quality of light is just as I remember it to be. I'm very satisfied, even though the price is ridiculous, and this bulb is not dimmable like the original bulb. I'm hoping "you get what you pay for" in longevity, and that it will last a long time. If not, I'll be back with an update.
