A budget projector for the price set expectations to a low and you'll be happy great for a kids room or dorm.Would recommend if you can block out most light sources when projecting.

For my AirBNB, I'm always looking for cool, affordable ways to add amenities that make the stay more memorable for guests. My rental has a hot tub, and I had this idea of creating an outdoor movie night vibe. I saw this mini projector and it seemed like the perfect solution. It's super small, so it's easy to store and doesn't take up much space. I was pretty impressed when I tested it out. For a little guy, it puts out a surprisingly bright and clear picture, even though it says 4K, it's def a 1080p but is plenty for what I need. The best part for a rental is how easy it is to use. It's got WiFi and Bluetooth, so guests can just connect their phones or log into their own streaming apps right on the projector. The auto correction is amazing, no one wants to fuss with complicated settings, and this thing just automatically adjusts the picture to look right, even if it's not perfectly straight. The 90-degree rotating feature is great too, making it easy to aim it at a screen or even just a blank wall by the hot tub. I was surprised at how great it looks even on the siding of our house but I will be adding a cheap screen to the wall so that its an even surface without the grooves of the siding. It's been a huge hit. Guests love the idea of watching a movie from the hot tub at night. It adds a really unique, fun experience to the stay, and since it's so affordable, it's not a huge disaster if it gets damaged. If you're looking for a cool, easy to manage amenity or just some fun for your own backyard, this little projector is a fantastic find.

For the size and weight, wow. This projector is incredibly compact and lightweight, making it perfect for travel or camping setups. Setup was quick, WiFi connected easily, and I was streaming Netflix within minutes. The image is sharp and — honestly — surprisingly bright, even with ambient light flooding in from uncovered windows (see pic). It’s no IMAX, but it's perfect for movie nights indoors or outside. Sound is decent for something this small, though you'll want external speakers in noisy environments.The auto keystone correction works like magic, instantly adjusting the image even when tilted. That said, I do wish there were a manual option -- it can overcorrect when projecting onto a ceiling or uneven surface.What sets this apart? The 90° rotating arm lets you mount it under a shelf or tent canopy and project downward, which is incredibly handy in tight spaces or on the go. Think projecting onto a tabletop in an RV or onto a bed in a cabin — very clever and flexible.A couple of drawbacks: the remote requires direct IR line of sight, which feels a bit outdated. I kept pointing it like a Bluetooth remote -- no response. And yes, I really wish the power port was USB-C so I could run it from a portable battery and be fully wireless in the wild.One important note: the unit can overheat if airflow is blocked, like when sitting on a soft surface or with the vents covered. At first, I thought the power cable was faulty, but it was actually the projector shutting itself down to prevent overheating. Make sure it's on a hard, well-ventilated surface.All in all, this is a thoughtfully designed little projector with a few quirks -- but for the price and portability, it's an excellent addition to any casual movie night or creative space.

This HY300 model is sold on amazon by different "brands" that slap their logo on it and increase the price by a random margin. Not the brightest, bit noisy, but it's a good 1280x720p projector. If used for a background in a room that's always dark with a wall that's not huge, it might just present the most value--particularly considering its wifi connectivity; most projectors at this price range offer only wired.

This projector isn't too bad for occasional use or a summer movie outside. The throw and the brightness aren't the best, so the screen will have to be moderately sized, and it will have to be dark outside. The brightness on this isn't great if there is any type of ambient light.The picture is okay for a projector of this size and price point. It's not going to wow anyone with the details, but it's plenty clear enough to enjoyably watch. The fan is obnoxiously loud on the projector and the internal speaker doesn't go that loud so you may need an external audio source.The projector has an auto keystone feature which is nice for projecting on walls. I just wish there was a way to turn it off or put it in manual since if you're trying to project onto the ceiling at even a tiny angle, it sets the keystone as if its trying to project on a wall at that angle.

I’m incredibly pleased with this projector! It was incredibly easy to connect to my Wi-Fi and set up took just a few minutes. The picture quality is crisp and vibrant, and I was pleasantly surprised by how clear and loud the audio is as well. The picture is easy to see even when the room isn’t completely dark. We were able to stream Netflix immediately, and my kids are already dreaming up plans of having movie night in the pool this summer! The projector comes with an HDMI cable, which allows me to project images from my computer. I paint party banners and will definitely choose this small projector over the bulky one I’ve previously used. Highly recommend if you’re looking for something user-friendly with great performance!

The video quality and brightness from this little projector are amazing! And the thing that impressed me even more than the video quality and brightness was the auto keystone correction feature. Each time I changed the vertical angle between the projector and the screen, the auto keystone correction would quickly adjust the shape of the displayed image so that it appeared perfectly rectangular. That feature is incredible! I highly recommend this projector.
