Smell, I used a few inside house. I was peeling cover off of a trap, and it fell on the floor ,glue side down. I had removed stickiness from floor.

I was amazed of how easy this product was to use. Once set up, just place it down in a spot and boom, within a few hours you will see results. The stickiness is perfect for catching these nasty bugs and is very effective. Definitely recommend it.

These are great. We sometimes get mice in our garage and need to use something that will not harm dogs if they get in there. Easy to place where needed and strong stick. I'm sure the mice won't get away from these. So much easier than snap traps.

These traps contain very strong adhesive on the inside- I'd know because I peeled back the liner to fold one and got it stuck to my hand! It's very thick, so I feel confident that it will securely adhere to any bug and possibly rodent as well. My issue is that I had them in the garage and somehow it still got warm enough to melt the adhesive a bit, which is surprising. Be careful where you store and keep them, because they won't be as effective and some little critter may go right through it and drag the adhesive outside of the box making a mess. The box is relatively easy to fold into shape otherwise. You can tell these specifically are meant for rodents because of the strong peanut butter smell. Not bad, but wish the adhesive held up to the heat of my garage. It's not even summer yet, and I keep the fan on in there, so I assume it will only get worse over the next few months.

After assembling the first trap, I figured out a better way of minimizing the chances of getting your fingers stuck. Assembling the second trap was much easier, faster and with less risk of getting stuck. Instead of removing the protective paper first, instead look at the cardboard and see where the folds need to be made. Then, pre-fold the trap with the protective paper still on. After you have formed the trap into a box, remove the paper. You will find it much easier to insert the tab to close the box securely if you aren't trying to avoid being glued while folding the cardboard at the same time.Have put out two traps along baseboards in different areas to see how effective they are at fooling mice. I think my mice have already figured out the danger of stepping on glue boards. Glue in these traps seems to be as sticky as the glue in the boards I have been using but I wonder what the cardboard and glue smells like to mice. Does it smell natural or does it smell out of place?Trapping mice is no different than trapping armadillos or other critters. If the trap looks suspicious or if it smells like it has been handled by humans, most will go around it and not get caught. I don't clean my armadillo cage. If it smells like an armadillo has been in there, another armadillo is often curious enough to go inside to investigate. Can't do that with glue traps or boards. Forgot to wear disposable gloves so that the traps didn't pick up my scent from the oils in my skin. Animals have a much keener sense of smell than humans.I'm giving these traps two weeks to gauge their effectiveness. Would be a very good value if they catch at least one mouse apiece in that period of time. Just one mouse can do an incredible amount of property damage in a day. Also hoping to trap scorpions but that seems to be hit and miss with any kind of glue trap.
