It is really sturdy and helps dampen noise. I can be at a speed of 3 on my walking pad without the ground rumbling. Perfect to help dampen noise in a condo setting.It was actually too long that I trimmed it with regular scissors and it looks great, no fraying!Utilized the cut portion for the garage to stop doors from dinging on the sides! 2 for 1 win!

So far, this mat has held up better than the last one. We use it under our treadmill and the last one ended up with two holes in it.
