Still true after months of riding. Replaced the original wheelset on my Giant hybrid bike after I kept having to replace broken spokes. Money well spent. Don’t know how they’d hold up for MTB use, not my application. Not light by any stretch but neither were the stock wheels.

I bought this as I had to replace the fork on my mountain bike when it started leaking oil. Since the new fork had mounting for disc brakes (yes, it is a very old bike) I decided to upgrade to that from the rim brakes and needed this wheel to mount the disc to.I only have about 30 miles on it and fairly gentle riding but it seems fine.

I have a mid drive ebike I built and there was something wrong with my rear hub which I ignored and eventually the rotational force sheared off the nut which holds in the bearings entirely and the hub got stuck in place. It was important I quickly fixed it without going to a shop so I just replaced the whole wheel with this one. The cassette is much higher quality then the previous one and increased my top speed dramatically. I use the bike to commute to work and I've put at least 200 miles on the wheel since I installed it.

First of the wheels spokes need to be adjusted. Other then that both tires are fantastic , took them on blue and black trails in TX without problems.

Freehub locked up at about 45 miles of use. You cannot take the freehub out of the wheel to replace it if it fails. Do not buy if you want a reliable wheel that is also serviceable. The freehub also made a noticeable grinding noise when coasting (not the normal click that is heard from a standard freehub). If I could give it 0 stars, I would absolutely do so.
