I have a titanium road and mountain bike, a chromoly retrofit e-bike (all presta), and a Brompton folder (shraeder), so I couldn't pass this up. The presta/shraeder adapters have sealing o-rings and the necessary internal and external threads. Plus the regular caps have quality knurling.I tend to break the plastic ones and I have a hard time finding them if I set the black ones on the ground. The shiny metal caps will also not get smashed if I leave them in a pocket for a while.The colors appear chemically deposited so they should not come off trivially.Plus the packaging is fit for jewelry.These caps serve both as a useful improvement upon plastic protective caps and are a sign of attention to detail.

These valve caps are awesome! They come in an aluminum case. Inside the case you get two pairs of presta caps, one pair of presta caps with integrated core removal tool, one pair of Schrader valves and one pair of Schrader-to-presta adapters. These are made from aluminum and have an anodized finish. They are well made. The threads are perfectly formed and all screw on to their respective valve stems, fully. The anodized finish is evenly applied. These are the orange caps though they look more like gold in the light. The grid-lines in the photo are 1" square, to give you an idea of scale.You really can't go wrong. You get enough caps for four bikes and a pair of adapters which let you use the air hose at your local gas station to fill up presta valves. It's a win.

I like adding a bit of color as a 'highlight' on my mountain bike. In the case of my current bike, that accent color is red... and this kit doesn't disappoint.There are some bits I don't need here (Schrader caps) but others that are both useful (Presta to Schrader adapters) and a couple of different styles of Presta valve caps - including a set of caps that also functions as a core removal tool.The machining quality is very good, and the anodization is very high quality, too. Given the number of items in the kit, I think it's a good value for the money. I expect these to last at least until I lose one, LOL!

Have a cyclist buddy, and want a good stocking stuffer or small gift to show appreciation or thank you? This fits that category. They fit that bling. Doesn't weigh noticeably more than the plastic equivalent. And if the caps are missing, this actually serves a function.

I ordered these as an alternative to the cheesy little plastic caps that always seem to split or strip. And I must say, it's a nice little piece of kit, IMHO. I was sort of surprised when I opened the box and found how well Bucklos had done the packaging. It's actually a neat little metal "tin" about the size of an Altoids tin, with an interior high density foam that is formed for each piece of the kit. Yeah, I know.... The packaging doesn't mean the contents are any good. But, I appreciate it when a company cares enough about their product to go the extra step of presenting it well to the consumer. That little attention to detail often reflects the amount of detail they also put into their products. But enough of that. Read on to find my review of the product itself...Inside the tin there are four Presta valve caps, two Presta valve caps with the core removal tool built in, two Schrader valve caps, and two Presta to Schrader adapters. All pieces are well machined, anodized and finished. The knurling it nice and uniform as are the threads. Overall just nice valve stem caps that rival companies producing similar items at higher cost.I plan to use the two with removal tools (one each) on two different bikes, with two of the standard Presta caps on the other wheel, and still have two standand Presta caps as spares. Then, I plan to use the two Schrader caps on one of my motorcycles. I really don't need the adapters, but ya never know when they could come in handy if all you have access to is the more common Schrader connector on a pump and you need air in your Presta equipped tire... Overall, I have to say, if you are looking for something along these lines, you won't be disappointed in these. I now have a few bicycle products from Bucklos and have found all of them to be a good value and of good quality. So, these get a solid five stars from me.Hopefully someone will find this review useful and enjoy this product as much as I do...

The presta valve caps that I had broke, so I needed another pair. I was pleasantly surprised to find these brass ones that are available in different colors. In the event that something were to happen to my bike, I would want to be able to have a feature that stood out. The purple color provided the proper seal for my valves and a pop of color.

What I wanted was the kind of nut that is used to adapt a Presta valve to a Schrader rim and this kit does not have that, however, that's ok because, supposedly, the Presta tubes come with a Schrader rim adapter. However, in my haste, I had forgotten something very important: the reason for an inner tube in the first place! With a Presta valve, I have no way of changing the tire because I have no way of putting ANY air into the tire! Fortunately, this kit does come with two Presta to Schrader adapters and the caps to go with them and it all worked out. The kit also includes four Presta valve caps and two valve caps with a built in a valve core remover. The entire kit is beautifully presented in a hingeless Altoids sort of tin where the central portion of the lid is transparent. Once you have used the beautifully anodized parts on your bicycles, the tin just begs for someone to fill it with a Raspberry Pi computer; it would be a crime to throw this tin away.I am very happy with my purchase and the gloss black matches the paint on my bike beautifully. If only the rims were finished the same way as the bike!
