The gaff gaurds will not stay in place. The magnetism is so weak you almost cannot detect it. Both of mine fell off about 20 feet from where I put them on.Also the description says Hi-vis green makes it easy to spot in the field. But they are a light dull mint green and almost impossible to find in any grass or weeds... you know anywhere you light be ussing pole gaffs...

Seems like it wouldn't break or rip like the original leather ones I got with my gaffs however, magnet is super weak and don't trust them to stay on. I plan to glue them in my old leather ones
