Why do hamsters need exercise wheels?
Hamsters are very active creatures when they live in the wild. They spend most of their waking time scurrying around to gather food or dig burrows. When they are housed in a cage, this biological programming is not turned off!

How to choose the right hamster size?
- It is recommended that you choose a wheel of 8.2 inches for dwarf and Roborovski hamsters and at least 10.2 inches for larger Syrian and other larger hamsters.
- It’s really important that you don’t give your hamster a wheel that is too small for them. The larger a wheel is, the less the hamster has to arch its back and the more similar it is to running on flat ground in the wild.

I have the 8” one for my mice and they love it! It’s very quiet, easy to clean and well made. That said, here are 2 facts you may find useful:1. It’s slightly cheaper on Temu2. If the bearings give out, you can change them for like $4.00 by searching “6001RS Ball Bearing Double Sealed Bearing 28mm/1.1" on Amazon and buying a 10 pack. I did this and they work perfectly. Simply unscrew 3 screws, replace the 2 bearings and reinstall the screws and it’s EXACTLY like new again.

We’ve only been using this wheel a a couple of weeks and as you can see the screw broke, of course making it unusable. Prior to snapping the wheel was constantly getting stuck. I’m not sure if all of these wheels are this bad or we just received a defective one, but this is not what I was expecting after paying top dollar for a wheel. Hoping the seller makes it right and issues a full refund.

So adorable for my Syrian hamster! Gives the cutest pastel girly vibe in the cage, exactly was I was going for, it's a see-through type of wheel so not a solid color just like the picture. So beautiful, I'd love to try the other colors too.

This hamster wheel is worth every penny, it’s a little bit on the more expensive side but it delivers silence, size, and safety. I have an older hamster that still loves to run and I lower the wheel closer to his cage floor so he can get on easier. He loves it, his old saucer wheel was bending his back too much. He wouldn’t run as long as when he was a baby. so I looked up the best option and I read that a bigger wheel is better. I tested it out on him and months later after seeing an improvement I noticed my teddy bear hamster was getting big for her wooden wheel as well so I bought her one to. I saved some money and sure enough bought another one for my other Syrian hamster, 3 total.

Product is good and feels sturdy for the price. Easy to clean and very quiet at night, only thing you hear are the little feet running. Great wheel and 10 inches is a great size for your hamster if they are growing still. I would recommend
