If you're looking for a good quality hide for your little ones, this is one is great. It is nice and cool for them in the summer. The quality is excellent. It's a great size for smaller exotic pets like hamsters. I have two of the mushroom. One for my dwarf hamster (it's pretty huge for him), and one for my Syrian and it works great for both..

We had a wood hide before this one. Within the first week of using it for our female hamster, it STANK so badly, I had to throw it away. The pee had soaked in and it was irredeemable. I ordered this one immediately and have no regrets. It's adorable, big enough for a Syrian hamster, and very easy to clean due to the removal top and glazing. I highly recommend it.

Our hamster LOVES this mushroom hideout. It's quite bigger than I expected but it is gorgeous and works perfect for our Syrian, Bilbo. He likes to hide food in the mushroom, he brings bedding into it and often naps in there. It has a good weight to it so I highly recommend putting it on a platform so your burrowing cutie doesn't get squished under it. Our platform is a Niteangel corner one. I love that the lid comes off and also has ceramic tabs that help lock it on. You just line up with tabs with the cut-out spots and twist it. The lid can still lift up a smidge but the hamster won't be able to get it off when in "locked" position.

My hamster loves it. It's adorable and it's a great size. It was packaged well and had no cracks or defects. It was worth the money! It's a big heavy so I put a stand under it in my hamsters tank to ensure it doesn't come down on him. Easy to set up. There's a little window cut out on the side and a hole in the chimney in addition to the entry, to ensure air can get through. I sprinkled some dried flowers inside and I put an ice pack on top when it's getting a little warm and my guy loves it.

I loved the size and quality of the mushroom. It’s definitely big enough for both dwarf and Syrian hamsters. I also love that you can easily remove the top piece for viewing and cleaning.

The design of this little hide is adorable. It looks great in my mouse and African soft fur enclosures, and they use it all the time. It seems sturdy and the rounded design makes it basically impossible for your pet to chew on it, but definitely be careful not to drop it on a hard floor. That would most likely be enough to shatter it even from a short height due to the material it's made from. They're packaged well in shipping so you shouldn't have to worry about them being broken on arrival.One thing to note is that anything larger than a dwarf hamster or African soft fur probably won't fit in this. My male syrian hamster never could have stuffed himself in this thing. As long as you're buying it for a smaller species, it should be perfect for your needs.As for cleaning: It's actually much easier to clean than I thought it would be based on the shape. Just wipe down the inside and outside with a small, non-abrasive sponge or pet-safe wet wipe and you're good. Make sure you dry them well before putting them back in your enclosure since the enclosured top could allow bacteria to grow if it remains wet for too long.

La compre para que mi hámster estuviera más fresquito, lo llena de papel así que no se si cumple su función, pero le ha gustado mucho. Es muy útil que se quite la tapa de arriba y es sumamente fácil lavarlo.Tengo un hámster sirio y es perfecta.

Got this for my syrian hamster and it's great quality. It's big enough for any hamster to hide in. I like how this hideout can be used when the weather gets warmer and they need a cooling station. Being able to remove the top is nice and makes it easy to clean out. Can't wait to be able to order different colors. Also it would be nice to have an option of a bottomless hideout so that the hamster won't use the bathroom inside staining the paint coating inside. It also comes with a cushion to put inside which is cute but wont be using for hamsters.
