This is a cheaply made bubble machine but it functions as intended. The different power options is a nice feature if you are not close to a wall power outlet. The two settings seem to control the fan speed, but the wands stay at a constant speed. The high speed appears to throw the bubbles further, not necessarily making more bubbles. The retractable handle is a good feature if you need to carry it around, then it stores away neatly. Don't let the kids get rough with the machine, the body appears to be flimsy plastic.A full tray of solution lasted approximately 25 minutes. When the tray is full of bubble solution, it is difficult to move the machine around without spilling some liquid. Be sure to use a supporting hand when using the carry handle, the center of gravity doesn't allow for level movement when full.Overall, the bubble machine has proven to be an absolute hit for both parties and playtime alike. If outdoors, make a note of wind direction before activating. The constant onslaught of bubbles is sure to delight.

While this does produce fun bubbles, the cord frayed within a few months and wasn’t safe to use anymore. The kids loved this, but I wouldn’t say it would produce enough for a larger event.

We hooked this up to our golf cart for a Christmas cart parade. Of all the decorations, this proved to be the favorite of the kids -- some of the "kids" in their very adult years. The little machine is easy to use. The bubble mix is placed in the reservoir and as the wands rotate past a small fan, it creates the bubbles. We used a bubble concentrate, rather than just using dish soap because we wanted bubbles that lasted in the air awhile. That was a good choice, as we watched kids chasing after the bubbles as we drove past in the parade.The battery pack holds four AA batteries. The four lithium-ion batteries held up well for several hours of blowing bubbles.

It's a cheaply-made bubble blowing machine, and it does what it's made to do.The multiple power options are convenient, but the port for the power is SUPER finicky. Simply turning the machine on and off a few times, I saw issues with the power being available enough to even turn the wands. If you get the plug in the right spot, though, it works fine.The 2 settings seem to be more to do with the speed of the fan, so 1 tends to keep bubbles closer, and 2 blows them farther out.I do wish the reservoir was easier to fill cleanly and easier to empty, or to at least close for storage/ transport.Overall lots of fun for kids, and at least some dogs, but the quality could be significantly better!

I finally got a chance to use this bubble machine. I have used a few before years ago. It’s not like bubble machine technology changes but I wanted to see how this compared to previous items. It works great. I typically don’t like battery only operated items because then you’re always changing batteries. This didn’t seem to use much battery though but I did use it on the slower setting. The higher setting does not produce more bubbles necessarily but did “spit” them farther. The grandkids had a blast chasing bubbles around. The quality of this product, although all plastic, seemed like it would last and not break down. If you’re looking for a bubble maker without running out of breath, this is the way to go.
