We went camping and brought our dogs. It didn't get too tangled up but I do have a large dog and one small dog so it did happen but for the most part it's not going to tangle. Beware your dog could get wrapped up around chairs and tables on their own making it likely that you'll trip or they'll get stuck.

Works well with 1 or 2 dogs. Both dogs are over 60lbs and have no issues being able to play and run the yard with this. Been using leash for recall training and works well. Nice grip on handle, the leash itself feels durable. Reflective is nice if you're in an area where there are a lot of cars or just using this in a dog park at night.

yup read the title right, its definitely a long dog leash. Great use to off leash train your dog. You have the confidence to have your dog free roam even thought this leash is attached to their collar. Just wish the cushion on the handle was more thicker but overall great long leash for off leash training

I actually got this leash to use with a single, 75# dog for help with training. The lengths are ideal for recall training and allows your dog to go a long ways off without worrying about them running away or getting out of range, and is far better and humane than using a shock collar. Time will tell about durability but the rope is quality climbing rope and should withstand years of use. The clasps are typical of leashes and work as expected although I might eventually change mine out to a frog clasp just out of preference.

This is an interesting take on a typical double dog leash which keeps both dogs permanently in close proximity to each other at a set distance. This leash allows them to move irrespective of each other, and yet one can pull them in when desired. I ordered the 12' leash, and it's plenty long enough for me, and probably for most people who are simply taking their dogs for a walk. For training, I think the longer leashes would work quite well. The leash itself is a sturdy yet light material and round, so that the sling leash slides easily--no tangling whatsoever. The clips/buckles are of nice quality and rotate so there is no rope twisting going on.I made a number of knots in the rope several feet apart to make it easier when pulling my dogs to me.I thought it might be nice if the sling leash was detachable, but came to the conclusion that the different type of required snap would interfere with the smooth operation--the sling leash slides beautifully. (Picture of sling leash and bolt snap). My only issue is that for my two little dogs the bolt snaps are quite large and heavy. The light rope leash would be fine, but it would be better for really small dogs to have a smaller bolt snap which would probably require a smaller circumference rope, which would be fine for small dogs. So, this is a good leash for allowing dogs to roam a bit, but I think better for medium to large dogs. I would suggest it's use is better where there is plenty of room to roam and sniff, not for city sidewalks.

I love that this leash comes in different lengths! Designed to be used with two dogs, it makes dog walking a bit easier for me. (I have three dogs. It's easier to manage two leashes instead of three!)One feature that I particularly like is that because the second clasp is not in a fixed position to the primary leash, it can move up and down which allows for more space between the two dogs. Most double leashes are fixed together, so there is a limit to how far the dogs can be apart. This one gives more potential room for them to go in different directions. As my two are not the best of buds, I appreciate this feature. However, since it is not a retractable leash, you have to manage the slack on the leash to prevent the dogs from stepping on it, or wrapping it around their legs. I say this just as an FYI. The longer the leash is, the more room for the excess to get in the way. There are pros and cons to both types of leashes, but as long as you pay attention, you can manage the slack on the leash. The material and thickness of the leash is such that I don't foresee any issues with it breaking. I also appreciate the cushioned handle. It fits comfortably in my hands.Overall, I think this is a good leash and one that I will continue to use.

This is for the 15' model. What I like:* Nice long length.* Sturdy attachment clasp to harness.* Nicely visible strips of reflective threads throughout its length.* Well padded handle of ample size for large hands and/or gloves. Not so good:* The secondary leash is hard mounted to the primary, making it impossible to use as a single lead [without cutting the secondary attachment off, which I did. - then easily reattached with a carabiner].* The thickness of the leash is too narrow to be useful in controlling hard pulls, except at the handle.* The material of the leash is a woven nylon that is capable of inflicting abrasion burns if the leash gets run out vigorously in your bare hands [or any other body part, like your bare leg].* The leash has some sort of elastic inner core that allows a bit of stretch to it. This could be good or bad depending on your use, as it could even out the shock of the end of the line for the dog a bit. For me, I'd prefer it being non-stretchy for better control. This is not in the product description.* Because of the elastic, I'm not overly confident the leash can withstand a heavy pull. I did test it by leaning back hard with my 200+ lbs and it held, so maybe it'll hold. They do indicate this is for small to medium dogs, so benefit of the doubt here.I use it to provide a brake for my senior dog going down a flight of stairs [with a work glove] and it allows me to pay out the line slowly and evenly the whole way down. So this works for my current use case.I haven't tried it with 2 dogs so can't comment on this use case.Took off a star for thin/abrasive material and another for no 2nd leash detach.
