This dress is beautiful!! Super stretchy from the top and straps. Straps are wide enough to cover bra straps. The tulle is beautiful and I feel like a princess!

It would be cute for a date night but you can size down it’s so stretchy and smocked.

The actual fabric and quality of the dress was good. However the fit of the top bodice part was incredibly boxy and unflattering. True to size but not well fit to the female body.

I ordered this BTFBM Women's 2025 Summer Midi Dress Casual Sleeveless Square Neck Smocked Ruffle Tulle smocked dress because I loved the lines and the layers of floating tulle and net.I thought this would make a pretty spring/summer dress; I also thought it could be a great addition to my family’s costume wardrobe. We all love costumes and greatly prefer vintage and period clothing styling to modern clothes. This dress, with its light, drifting skirts, could be styled so many ways as a costume; it would make a lovely princess dress, and would look great as a gown for an elf maiden/princess/queen, a fairy, pixie, etc.The pale pink color is lovely and very springlike. The dress is made from a combination of fabrics. The shell (the outer tulle layers) is 100% polyester. The lining, which feels a little like vintage early 1960s nylon nighties, is a blend of 95% polyester/5% elastane, and is soft and stretchy. The inner layer gives the dress structure, and keeps the tulle from scratching against the skin. I have to say, tulle is much softer now than it was when I was young; those tulle petticoats under party dresses were very scratchy! This tulle is lightweight, and not a bit stiff or scratchy.Normally, I love smocked bodices. I have an hourglass figure, larger up top, and the smocking is figure flattering, as it fits me up top, where I’m a bit busty, but shows my small waist, too. I wasn’t sure what size to order; the size chart showed a bust measurement of 38” for a L, and I’m slightly larger than that. So I sized up to an XL, and hoped for the best. Smocked bodices can vary a lot in how much they do or don’t stretch.Usually I wear a M tee and a L in a blouse that buttons down the front; I wear a S/M legging and a 6 in jeans. Depending on the cut, I wear anywhere from a M to L in a dress, and I’ve worn S and XL too, depending on how the bodice is shaped and seamed.Measured flat across the front, unstretched, the bodice measures about 18” wide. This doubles to a bust measurement of 36” unstretched. However, when fully extended, it measures 27” across the front. Stretched to capacity, this bodice measures 54”.The bodice is quite a bit bigger than I needed; I think I can probably fix that by taking a tuck in the back that takes up some of that extra room. It would have been very helpful when ordering if the sales chart had included an unstretched and stretched measurement, for a sense of comparison and stretchiness. A size L would have been fine for me; I suspect a M would have fit nicely, too.I love the soft lining, it works like a slip. I really like the straps; it can be difficult to find straps that disguise a wider bra strap, but this dress does the job well.I thought for a while about how many stars to give this; usually if there’s a fit issue but the item is wearable, I rate four stars. But I really, really like the design of this dress. Yes, the bodice is larger than I needed, but as I said above, I think I can take it in a bit. I also could wear a wide sash over the dress, and do a temporary tuck of extra fabric. Or I could wear one of my vintage or vintage-styled corsets over the bodice; it would look lovely, and contain the extra fabric. In the end, I gave this five stars. I’m mentioning the size issue; you may want to order down a size. But the dress is so pretty, so drifty, so magical, so Midsummer Night’s Dream-y, I thought the full five stars were appropriate. And, as I mentioned, there are a few easy fixes.I love the juxtaposition of the light, drifting tulle and the soft, stretchy under layer that acts as a slip. I’m short, about 5’2”, and the dress is much longer on me than on the model in the sales photos. It hits just about at the ankle bone on me. The four-tiered skirt is cut slim, so it’s quite figure flattering, even with the length and those four horizontal lines. This is a lovely dress and a versatile costume piece. I’m very pleased with the quality of this dress, and it is also quite comfortable to wear.
