This is an excellent tool with plenty of power for it's price point. Not sure how it would hold up to commercial use but is super for a home shop! Head and shoulders above the low priced models for only a few $ more, you'll be glad you spend the few extra bucks!

The OEM sanding socket is a very odd size to me. I placed what I believe to be a standard size next to their size for illustration. May good hunting be with you for your replacement heads.

This small DA sander is extremely smooth running with very little vibration. Nice size and weight as well.

Sometimes when you turn natural edge wood pieces on a lathe there are parts that you cannot get smooth enough for easy sanding and the flying 'wings' make them not able to be even sanded while turning. I have used small sanding disks on a drill but was never completely happy with the results and the drill is heavy and cumbersome. A right angle mini air grinder was a thought but that might still leave circular scratches that would need to be removed by hand. It was in looking at them that I found this tool. Amazing in practice. I found I needed to turn down the speed some using the built in speed control regulator and have now used it on a few pieces both while the pieces are turning and stationary and it performs amazingly well. Best of all, it is small and extremely light. As with many air tools, check the CFM ratings on your compressor because a basic 3-6 gallon compressor will not do it for this tool. My California two piston compressor (I forget the tank size) handles it with the compressor turning on and off with use. Before I turned down the regulator (regulates air for speed control) on the tool, I did get to the point the tools was slowing down but that speed is not necessary and crazy fast anyway. I do use one of those sponge sanding pads some of the time and they are really not suitable at the maximum speed but work will slowed down some. Remember to add a drop of air tool oil each day before use, Overall a great little tool and well worth the price.

I am pleased with it. My compressor is about a 4 Gallon tank and while it kicks on and off while I run the sander, the power does not drop off noticeably.I use it for sanding things like bowls on a wood lathe.

Perfect size for sanding my Tacoma rims. It was a big job but the sander handled it without a problem. I would suggest you at least have at least a 30 gallon compressor for continuous work. I don't think a pancake compressor will do it for you. Overall very pleased with the product. Nice and light, perfect size for all the tight angles. Quality product.
