Create Beautiful Candles With Our Made in America Brown Candle Dye!
Step 1: Prepare Your Wax
Melt your candle wax using a double boiler or wax melter until it reaches the recommended temperature. This is typically around 185° F.
Step 2: Add The Dye
Add your desired amount of diamond dye chips. We recommend starting with 1 dye chip per 1 pound of paraffin wax or 2 dye chips per 1 pound of soy wax.
Step 3: Stir
Stir the wax and dye until the dye chips are completely melted and all dye has dissolved.
Step 4: Pour
Carefully pour the wax into a candle mold or container. Let the candle cool and harden for at least 24 hours.

These candle dyes are great value for money. Each chip is perfect for accurate coloring as they are all the same size and the company advises how much to use per pound of wax. They melt and blend into the wax quickly making it easy to complete the job without having to reheat the wax.

It blew my mind how much people want for a red/black reversal candle so I made my own) black on the outside, red in the middle). However, I had to use 3 dye chips for only half a pound of white beeswax to achieve the level of black I wanted but in the end, I was quite pleased.With the red chips, it took alot more than expected. 1 chip in only 1/2 pound of beeswax turned out a faint, light pink. I ended up using 3 chips.

UPDATE: The company contacted me after my less-than-positive review of the Yellow Dye chips. Evidently, the lighter-colored chips do not mix well with Soy wax with the "Universal Soy Additive," which is what I was using.They were kind enough to send me some of their Soy Pillar Wax and new dye chips to try out. I am happy to report that the color was fantastic. The darker colors still work fine with the other wax, but for the lighter colors, they recommend a wax WITHOUT the additive.Steller costumer service!ORIGINAL REVIEW: I bought the variety pack after having good results with the brown chips. (The brown turned out just like the image on Amazon) I used the yellow chips 2 per 1lbs of soy wax and my candles ended up with a pink/orange tint. Almost an orange sherbert color. They started out looking great, but as they dried, the color shifted dramatically. Definitely not like the picture at all. I'm disappointed. And concerned about wasing wax on the other color chips.

Not much to say, melts easily and two pieces are all you need for one pound of beeswax is all you need for a nice red color, and if you want it darker you can add another.
