At first a was taken aback by the previous comments and accepted I was going to waste the bottom half of the tape.Than I played a little with the options in P-touch editor and fund I could use both labels. I have the QL-800 printer.I hope this also works for you.Solution:- Set you paper setting to 29 mm (1 1/7''), see pictures.

No hassle, arrived on time. Just used the entire label and all of them do have good quality. Good work Amazon & Brother. Keep it up.

Awesome value. I used the Quick Address Labels app and managed to print on both strips, not wasting anything at all. Now I can print up to 2400 labels with one roll. Yeah. I can now print quickly with my iPhone or iPad. All my contacts, including customers, friends and family are imported with a single tap. Then all new contacts and addresses are saved, and organized in their respective folders. Brother's printer is amazing, no messy inks, and the print quality is always perfect and consistent. This DK-2214 label adheres on any surface no problem.

I've been using these for a couple of years for packing small bags of beads. They are the perfect size for my needs. The only downside is the waste tape on the bottom half of the label. I can reuse some of these small bits of blank tape, but I still have a bag full of them. I wish they could make this label tape so you could print two of the same labels on the top and bottom of the tape at the same time, or two different labels at once so there wasn't so much waste.

Good quality for out QL700 labeler. The continuous feed label allows to make bar codes and more with just one roll of labels. The auto cutter in our labeler makes this easy.

This is fine. But to get the half inch width, they still had to have an inch wide of tape (because the machine needs the width for feeding). So, you print on half the tape, and throw the other half away (it's slit lengthwise along the whole roll). There's no way to use all of the label (unless you modify the cartridge to make the sensor holes tell the machine it's 1" wide, and format the labels accordingly (hint hint)).

I too was dismayed by the prospect of wasting half the tape but found it possible to create a duplicate row of Return Address labels and use all of the tape. Works for a Brother QL-570 label printer. The label template was originally created with P-Editor v5.0.221 but still works fine with v5.0.230 of the software. In the EXPRESS view of the P-Editor under the PAPER settings, I picked 1-1/7" tape. For length, AUTO with the Auto Length box checked. For margins, 0.12". For orientation, Horizontal. For purpose, pick Return Address Label from the dropdown. For text to include in the label box, I used Arial 8 with the Free Size text setting. That allowed me three lines for each return address with a blank line in between. At the time I created the label I wasn't taking notes so I'm not sure if I dragged the text box label up or down on the label background to adjust where the addresses were relative to the split in the tape but the bottom copy of a Return Address label ends up with a little more top margin and considerably more bottom margin. Since you only use one Return Address label on an envelope, no recipient is going to be comparing appearances of top and bottom label copies and both look great on the labels I print. On printing, even though the label is formatted for 1-1/7" tall tape, I just put the (quote) 1/2" tape in the printer and print away. In the printer dialog, the Auto Cut, Cut at End, and Output Directly to Printer Driver options are checked. I get NO feedback that the wrong tape is inserted and the QL-570 merrily churns away. On Copy Number, just remember you get 2x as many labels as copies so 25 copies gives you 50 labels. I store the cut labels in a ziplock sandwich bag to keep them clean until used.

This is great paper label stock for a low price. Continuous stock is nice because it saves paper and can be cut to size. Also, there is no label alignment necessary. It's easy to get off the backing, too!
