This is a non OEM Broan-Nutone Part Attributes: Contains an aluminum foil pad between two pieces of expanded aluminum.
Usage: This washable aluminum filter is used in ducted and ductless range hoods and microwave ovens to remove grease from the air.

Updated review - The day these came was extremely cold and the filters sat outside for a few hours. They were initially about 1/8-1/4 inch too small in all dimensions and left 1/4 -1/2inch gaps when installed. Omaeon emailed an offer to refund the cost. But I just compared the old/new filters directly and now the size difference is only 1/16 inch, which leaves a much smaller gap and is acceptable. 4 stars for product. 5 stars for customer service!

The good folks at Omaeon offered and sent out a replacement set of filters after my very negative review of the first set. I am happy to report this make-good set is very good and everything one could wish for in a third party replacement product. Furthermore, I trust the first set represented an anomaly among their products and your purchase will be a satisfactory one.(Old review below)This replacement range hood filter set for NuTone Allure models is marketed by Omaeon. It is very flimsy and right out of the box the sharp ends of the wire mesh, which should have been contained by the aluminum frame, were poking out in places! The wire ends were so sharp, in fact, when wiping down the hood they tore off a piece of my cleaning sponge.

Arrived quickly. There is a finger print in the mesh which I don’t think will affect its use. Glad to have some spares for when one filter goes into the dishwasher.

I ordered the filter with actual size. After inserting the filter, the front corners won’t fit in for some reason . About one eight bigger than the actual size . Have to squeeze in to fit it.

I am returning them. The original I wish to replace has several layers, all what is called "expanded aluminum." That's what these are too but my original starts with a very open mesh then gets finer and finer. These are three layers of the very open type of mesh. Nothing finer...you can look right through them. In the places where the layers happen to line up we are talking holes of half a cm straight through. Some filter that will be. If you really want keep the grease out of your fan & ductwork these are worthless. And if you don't have a ducted hood and it exhausts right back into your kitchen these will do you no good.I will tell you where these might be useful. Maybe if you are moving and your old filters are dirty you can put these up and they will look nice and shiny and fool your buyer. But if you seek actual filtration look elsewhere. I can't believe people give this a good review. Clueless people. Maybe they have never seen the proper filter.
