Beautiful tinsel with such a nice sparkle. Long strands and lots of them. Tinsel adds something magical to a tree without adding stress, or additional weight on the branches. Lightweight, practically weightless.

Several years ago, I changed my Christmas decorations to “vintage” to remind me of the warm holiday memories of my childhood. I remember taking to Facebook to ask my friends if I should add these old-fashioned icicles to my tree because I have such fond memories of throwing them on my Mammaw’s tree when I was little and would decorate her Christmas tree for her. Everyone said NO! So I did it lol. I think it was trend-setting because this year I saw several trees covered in icicles on my Instagram feed! These seem to multiply the number and brightness of twinkle lights on the tree. They don’t cling to hands like the old-timely ones did because they’re made from a different material now. That being said, I’ve ordered from different companies the past few years, and these remind me most of the “old-timey” ones; they’re not thick like other brands, and they clung to the tree with absolute ease and a beautiful drape. I’ll be buying this brand from now on.

I had a hard time finding icicles and was glad to find them and receive before Christmas but the price they charged is crazy high for only 1000 icicle boxes. I will order early next year so that I can get a better price from another seller. I ordered late so I got stuck with the high cost.

I was really excited I was able to find this tinsel as no physical storefronts carried this product in my area. I know this is a retro style Christmas decoration for trees and that’s why I specifically decided to put it on my tree this year as it’s something my mother had on her Christmas trees when she was growing up. It helps to keep her memory alive.

I have purchased others and they were very plastic like. These are nice and could not tell the difference from very old boxes from my parents house.

I got these early this year because every year they sell out at every store and then online they won't get their before Christmas. They are so much fun and super pretty. Worth the cost.

WOW, this tinsel has been on our trees since I was a young boy who lived care-free, never thinking that the proper amount of glimmer and shine would be an important part of having a Christmas tree as an adult. But alas, tinsel is a part of adulting and if you want the good stuff, using BRIGHT STAR means YOU. HAVE. ARRIVED.Once you deck your boughs with strands of Bright Star, you'll fa la la la la your way to la la la.One thing to note... they sell 1,000 strand packets for you beginners, but they offer 2,000 strands for experts! Watch out for the price... tinsel is apparently NOT CHEAP!!! So choose based on your comfort with putting silver strands of shimmering goodness on your tree and cost-v-shimmer effectiveness!!
