After spending 5 mins every morning to fill my fountain, I finally bought this guy. It’s smaller than I anticipated, around the size of a 20 oz bottle, which I needed for a shallow fountain. Worked like a charm. I attached to a drip system feed, so I did experience some back suction when the water level dropped. I installed an in-line check valve for a reverse osmosis system and everything is on autopilot.

The metal plate is heavy, it keeps it from tipping. water line holds well and works right, when I can keep the squirrels out of it.

I liked the design of the product, that allowed me to attach to my fountain without having to to drill holes in the concrete fountain, however it does’t work well. The fountain keeps filling up snd overflow as it seems the float doesn’t close the valve completely, no matter how I adjusted the float.When I tried manually to lift the float it seems to close, so I’m not sure what the probkem is.

My outdoor faucet handle is awkward making it difficult to add the little device to allow 2 water hoses. Plumber added the gadget that screws onto the outdoor faucet in a weird way allowing for two water hoses. This new device was screwed onto the second hose opening. It allows the water to stay on while the other hose is off. This device allows the outdoor fountain to get a constant stream of water when needed. I no longer have to go outside everyday to refill the fountain due to wind blowing water away as it falls, birds splashing water out of the top tier, and of course evaporation at a fast pace on 95 degree days. I'm no longer battling mosquitoes as I stand near the flowerbed to refill the fountain. I could actually afford this device. Kudos to the inventor!

I am very grateful to have this product in my fountain. So much wildlife visits my fountain in the hot Arizona summer, and this should keep my pump from burning up.The white hose that came with it was very stiff and I couldn't get the float to sit right, so I had to buy new tubing and also retrofit the screw valves with washers and lots of plumbers' tape to prevent leaking. I think this will do the job.I would have given five stars but like all plumbing jobs, it took a trip to Ace Hardware and wasn't plug in ready.

This was just the product I was looking for to help keep my fountain full in the summer. A little bigger that what I anticipated, but worked perfectly. Easy to adjust for maintaining the perfect water level. Would be great if you could include a couple more feet of tubing. Would definitely recommend this product.
