Boiling Safe Material

The material has a heat tolerance of 248℉ and can withstand boiling but is not fireproof.

Although the liquid temperature is less than 248℉, the temperature of the kettle bottom may be far above it, which may melt the bags.

The bag should not touch the bottom of the kettle. If you don’t have a false bottom, you can use the drawstring or attach the bag with clamps to the brim of the kettle.

I bought this to line my pool skimmer basket since the nylon socks sold for that purpose fall apart in 4 weeks. This worked great and was easy to empty and is going strong after 4-months.

we're using them mostly for soy milk making but I can see other uses. large enough to fit over a big pot and easy to clean. much easier then using cheese cloth.

I searched all over for bags that fit a 3 gallon kettle, and these work great. The size allows plenty of room for the grains, and the top pulls tight with a draw string. It cleans out pretty well and I usually get about 3-4 uses out of each.

It is as described and it's perfect for sieving wet grinded/blended corn for pap ( for my African people). The 3 in one pack makes me love it more as I don't have to buy more packs but one.

Perfect, just as described. Works fine for making jelly. My husband also borrows them when he is making wine.

First time fermenting apple vinegar I did a 5-gallon batch. Had a concern as to how I was going to strain out the apples from the vinegar. I was able to use two of the bags which fit easily in a 5-gallon bucket and separate out the apple pieces from the vinegar. While the bags did clog due to all the sediment it was easy enough to get most of the larger pieces out of the solution and then squeeze out the vinegar. Clean up of the bags before and after was very easy. Great product.
