Have never used a sandwich grill before, always relied on the old frying pan method. I'm so pleased with this grill, it works so well, producing a very nice sandwich in a very short time! Love it, love it!! 👌👍

The locking clasp mechanism broke while in he process of making sandwiches exposing the very hot interior portion of the unit...needless to say the cooking process was able to be completed by manually squeezing and holding the unit closed until cooking process was finished..but I am an adult and knew what to do when the unit broke,if that would have been a teenager or younger I suspect the outcome may have been a lot different.Could be a very dangerous situation as the interior cooking apparatus gets very hot...the thin black plastic housing that contains the clasp broke off in 2 places and the clasp fell right off and the unit popped open as there was nothing there to hold it closed and locked. Not good,not safe,Poorly made.

it is so light in weight and it’s perfect. Finally found something that is easy to store and easy to use. My toddler loves eating sandwiches made from this.

Got this to replace my other sandwich maker, and it's a big improvement. Light turns green when my sandwiches are done, and the clasp on the handle attaches nicely to prevent wear over time. Exactly what I wanted.

I know, most "normal" adults wouldn't consider such a machine to be a vital piece of equipment in their kitchen, right? Not me... I love this thing! This is the third one I've gotten, and the first Brentwood brand. This is by far, the most superior sandwich maker I've ever had. The one I replaced with this machine had cracked across the top exterior and I would burn myself trying to squish the sandwich all together between the plates. The stainless steel piece on top won't let that happen anymore :) and this machine actually closes and clasps when you have 2 sandwiches inside... And no leaky melted cheese! I highly recommend this particular machine to anyone who's looking to make grilled cheeses, mountain pies, or whatever other oddity you might like inside toasted bread. Yum!

So, I was really excited to receive this in the mail and was a little disappointed by the size. It can't hold two sandwiches at once , which defeats the purpose for having two slots. It does a great job toasting the bread and is super easy to use. It also doesn't have a temperature knob or anything, which I would have preferred but, it does it's job!

I was looking for an unexpensive sandwich maker that would do what it is supposed to do without causing me any problems in the morning. This product is just what we were looking for at an affordable price. 100% recommended.

Small sandwich maker that works for the price point. Closure feels flimsy and can't always close it until bread is partially toasted. Works fast and delivers a good grilled cheese in 2minutes. Great for vacations. Does take some time to cool and plug is a bit short.
