I recently went on a trip that was almost ten hrs and the cooler was amazing. It kept all the bottles nice and cold. I was a little worried about size, but they fit my 6 Avent bottles perfectly.

First, I love the style and look of this bag. It's a classic gray color with nice black straps and leather-colored handles (exactly as pictured), and it looks neutral enough that anyone can tote it around without feeling self-conscious. At first glance, I would not assume this was for storing breast milk, and I have been using it as a lunch box for outings during the weekends.Now for the performance. The insulation has been working great. There’s a small uninsulated pocket in the very front that can hold things like small room temp snacks or silverware, and the bag itself is roomy. I liked the included ice pack, which was empty and just had some kind of powder inside so you can fill it with water and shake it up, and the powder sort of makes it into a gel or solid inside the ice pack. That has held up very well without turning into a liquid when it starts to “thaw out.” This lunch box keeps things cold for at least 6 hours; that’s how long my tests have gone so far. It would probably keep it cold for longer, I just haven’t had a reason to keep my food in there for that long. I will say that this lunch box kept my snacks and lunch cold even when I left it in the hot car for an hour on a 98 degree day. As a caveat, I did add one small gel ice pack just for safety.

This turned out to be a winner for my son, his wife, and their new baby daughter. She is using her breast milk to put into bottles. So, when they go places which is often, they need somewhere to put the bottles and the bags of milk that she has that of course needs to stay cold for several hours. This works out great for that. They were just at my house for Christmas with this in hand. Their drive took 7 hours, and she used this bag to keep some of the bottles cool. On another occasion when they couldn't find the ice pack that came with it, they decided to put ice into the bag instead since the inner lining is made of a certain material and is insulated. It keeps anything from leaking out. I don't know if you can normally put ice into it, but it worked. The bag is cute and has a comfortable strap that goes over the shoulder as well as another one on each side to carry it. It closes with a zipper and has a pouch on the side to put stuff in as well as another netted pocket on the opposite side. It isn't really big but as you can see from the listing pictures it can hold up to 6 bottles. They like it and use it all the time.

I love that this came w/ the ice pack. It works great to keep milk cold. I love that it is made taller to fit a variety of bottles. We actually use Tomme Tippe and they fit great. But it can accommodate Dr Browns too. Would recommend.
