I bought this brazilwood "Vingobow Ad." as backup for my primary bow. Excellent deal for the price. Its very playable. The shaft is not as perfectly straight as my professional bow (which cost more than 10x the price) but the level of finish, mechanical operation of frog, is great. The bow hair works fine (applied dark Kaplan rosin).

The balance and all that is perfect, as described, however the wood and hair quality is not the best for sound quality, it blocked some brightness from my cello but gave more of a sober tone to it, less projection and more intonation control..Very interesting, I would recommend to students.
