We have a large stained glass project that we need to cut holes in and it broke every single piece of glass we tried. It may work great on marble, granite, etc., but it is too harsh for Glass.

I gave used these ceramic drill bits in several sizes to add drainage holes to bonsai pots. They work quite well and theur grinding material has survived multiple drillings. Recommended.

We purchased a new RO system, so I needed to drill a 1" hole through our granite counter to install the faucet. I chose this particular bit because it had the center bit and I'm not an expert at doing this (it was my first time) and I was unsure if I could master the technique of starting a standard core bit without causing damage.Everything worked just fine and I now have a perfect hole and RO system installed. It took me a good 15 minutes I'd say to get the hole completely drilled. I took my time and dipped the bit in cold water every 30 seconds and vacuumed the dust out of the hole each time. I drained two batteries on my drill by the time I was finished, with the second one just barely making it. If I had to do this again, I'd use my AC powered drill. I used a hammer and nail to 'punch' the center hole and the guide bit stayed centered with no problems. It did seem to take a long time for the center bit to finally drill into the surface enough for the core bit to start cutting. Once it cut a shallow circle, I removed the center bit and continued drilling, which made faster progress. So, for $10, I got a perfect hole. Would this bit actually cut a second hole? I Maybe, but doubt it and I certainly would buy another one if I ever needed to, especially given how long the first hole took and the fact that the bit is now somewhat worn down. If it did work, I would probably take longer than I am willing to wait.Overall, for $10 I got exactly what I needed to accomplish done with perfect results, so I'm happy.

Watched a video online on how to drill. Simple just dunk the bit in water every 20 seconds or so. Took about 20 minutes to get though 1” of granite. Clean hole and the bit looks basically new.

This tool cuts like a tool that is 3 times more expensive. When cooled with water spray, the tool lasts for many, many cuts. Other tools fail with one to two cuts through 2" material. The abrasive edge remains intact after 10+ cuts. Excellent value

I bought this hole saw to install two grab bars in my shower. It did an excellent job cutting 4 holes in ceramic tile and cement board backing. It appears to still be in like new condition. For me it was a good value.
