This is amazing. Wish I had this years ago. Very solid & built well. Made this job so much easier.

Before I was use this big bulky C clamp that was a pain in the butt to use and almost impossible on some vehicles but this thing has made it a breeze to change pads you just crank it up don’t even need to keep the old pads in place “you can” but this is great! Good quality no chonky spots easy to reverse and easy to setup.

I’ve had some pretty expensive versions and this tool seems just as good as those higher priced ones.. will definitely buy again but probably won’t need to as the quality of this item seems up to par with those 4x the price

Oh so many years I have used a large vice clamp or c-clamps to close the piston on brakes. Even using a pry bar or large screwdriver in dire situations.....MY ENTIRE LIFE!!! Now this... this beautiful little piece of simple ratcheting goodness is in my life. This weekend I did the front brakes on my 1500 silverado, I used this tool and when I say my life is so much better for it please believe me. The small little detent that switches from forward or reverse on the lower end of the handle ( it's basically a small pass-thru ratchet with an inner and outer threaded post) is very handy, and not having to go get zip ties to hang the caliper because they give you two nice steel hangers... WHAT!All in all, Im in love with this. I wish I had this years and years ago. Does it make the job go faster? No, not really. Will it make your brake job easier? YES buy leaps and bounds... Just buy it and clicky click that piston back into place -

Working on brake repairs can sometimes feel like a daunting task, especially when you're dealing with stubborn brake calipers. But this tool has really made the process smoother for me. The first thing I noticed is the solid construction. The carbon steel is strong and durable, so I don’t worry about it getting damaged during use. Plus, the handle is cushioned and feels great in my hand. It’s non-slip, which is a real bonus when you’re trying to get a good grip on something that requires a bit of force. The ratcheting mechanism is also fantastic. It rotates 360 degrees, making it incredibly easy to get the right angle on the caliper pistons without straining my hands. I used to dread this part of brake work, but now it feels like a breeze because I can adjust the tool quickly and without tiring myself out.Another great feature is the inclusion of two brake caliper hooks. These are perfect for hanging the brake calipers and hoses out of the way while I’m working on other parts of the brake system. It’s small touches like these that make a big difference and save time. This tool works well with both twin and quad piston fixed calipers, as well as single and twin piston floating calipers. It’s ideal for anyone working with disc brake systems, but it’s important to note that it’s not meant for drum brakes. Overall, this has been a real asset to my toolbox, making brake repair and installation quicker, easier, and far less stressful.

I was introduced to this tool a while back for replacing break pads. OMG it was so much easier to press the piston in over doing it the old way with a c clamp and trash break pad. Plus that is a dangerous way where you can easily damage the caliper if you are not careful. With this tool you will find that it is quick, easy and far less of a hassle. It is well built and so worth the money. Again if it showes up in your search, you listen to what ol jack Burton says and buy this now..

This is a review for the Yofond brand “Brake Tools, Brake Caliper Tool, 4 in 1 Universal Disc Brake Caliper Compression Tool, Caliper Piston Compressor Tool with 2 Brake Caliper Hooks”I’m adding this brake caliper compression tool to my tool box because it feels well-built, easy to use, and makes brake work much simpler. The ratcheting mechanism built in makes the fumbling with old brake pads and a giant C-Clamp unnecessary. It feels strong and durable, and the blue cushioned handle provides a somewhat, non-slip grip. The 360° ratcheting design allows for smooth operation from any angle, reducing hand fatigue. I think it will be a versatile tool for both cars and small trucks, and maybe some larger motorcycles. The best part IMO is two brake caliper hooks to keep components out of the way while working. I usually have to bend an old coat hanger. Overall, it’s a solid addition for DIY repairs.
