I bought a very old piano and wanted to see how hard it would be to restore it, tune it, and set all the keys level, I'm not sure if this is the right way to do it but I used these to replace all the very old very worn out punching it used to have, but I'll need to order more since I had to double stack a lot of the keys which went from 90 keys to be able to fix with this down to 45. all in all, so far so good, all my keys look so perfectly level!

Only got 76 in the bag, so I couldn't finish the job. These are really thin also, about a 16th of an inch, so they didn't really work as a replacement for my piano. I ended up putting them above the old ones, which worked just fine, except I didn't have enough.

These worked great on a Kawai upright where most of the original balance rail felt had been eaten away by insects or something. Replaced all the balance rail punchings with these and everything is perfect now. Amazing find on Amazon Prime since you’d usually have to wait a while and make a larger minimum order from a piano supply store. Also made my own paper punchings for key leveling.
