Bought to replace a damaged pair on my rowing machine and worked perfectly. knowledge of the rotational mechanism and magnetic counter on the wheel is essential to get these working. But the sensors themselves are functional and fit for purpose. Would recommend.

Had a rower that wasn’t reading anything on the display. Guessed it was a bad sensor because there were no other electronic parts it could have been. Replaced with this magnetic/reed sensor and display started working properly again. And to date have had no other issues with display.

I bought a few different magnetic proximity sensors for a project, and these are my favorite, as they're the most sensitive and reliable.I am able to use a 1/4" neodymium magnet and activate the switch from about 0.75" away. This switch actuates from 3 angles - - the end of the tip, and two sides. You'll have to mess with it to figure it out.

Used these to activate a warning device, Worked very well for the project. They are weather resistant and activate within a decent range of a magnetic field.
