I assumed that 12.7mm was an error because normal large shank mouthpieces are 12mm and mall shank are 11mm. This does not fit in either horn that usually takes large shank. Quality was great. Shame on my for not believing the description.

Arrived tarnished. Polishing with blue shop towel rubbed off silver to expose copper under plating.

This arrived looking nice. Be sure to note there are two different photos with different outer bore measurements 12mm & 12.7mm, although it does indicate the measurement can vary 1-3mm. The one I received was too big for my use at 13mm.

I used it on a Baritone Horn, and found it MUCH better than the stock mouthpiece. I have ordered a Schilke 51 D for my Euphonium. I hope my "chops" will be able to handle this much larger mouth piece. It's used a lot among pro players. Ed

it did not work for me because I mistakenly ordered the wrong shank size...
