Quality products (also own a SUP leash & just got a recycled plastic bucket hat) at good prices & awesome customer service.I’ve only used this paddle 1x so far, but is a huge improvement compared to every other paddle I’ve used before. Definitely recommend.

WW paddler ( SUP, Kayak, Raft, and canoe) and instructor (kayak, raft) over 30 yrs experience. So I know a bit about paddles. Purchased this BPS SUP paddle as a gift.When I found out the problems with this paddle it was too late to return it.Pro: light weight 22.9 ozs. Carbon layup looks goodCons: not as blade forward as most high end paddles to enhance catch of stroke- not a deal breaker very poor adjustment system. Instead of the "normal" compression clamp system this utilizes a pull out collar with 2 metal pins that adjust height and should secure the upper T grip to the lower shaft/blade. This system, even when new, allows the T grip to rotate 4mm measured at outer edge of T grip (grip 100mm, blade ~198mm. so 4mm at grip translates to ~8mm "wiggle" at blade edge)This can only increase with use as even carbon fiber can wear. Basically you have a loose . connection between your control hand and the blade. between the T grip and the blade; like a $30 aluminum kayak paddle. No way to switch to a usable std clamp system without cutting the shaft below this ridiculous pin system. The ULTIMATE con the T grip was glued on BACKWARDS! This would not be an issue with a normal compression clamp. As this upper shaft only has holes on one side the pin system prevents rotating the grip to correct orientation. As it is the curved part of the T grip (shaped for the curvature of your fingers) digs into your palm. The flat side of the grip (to fit the flat of your palm) is now under your fingers which gives no purchase. My friend contacted company and they said they would look into it, That was weeks ago and no further contact. It also allowed my return window to close.Yes BPS is very inexpensive for full carbon paddle. I advise all to look elsewhere. Light weight means nothing if paddle has loose joint or manufacturing defects. Also I question durability if quality control is this poor.This paddle has not been in the water yet so I cannot comment on performance. Looking at blade I estimate med power, has some dihedral so min flutter, catch and release similar to a mid range paddle.

Received paddle today, not been able to get on the water yet in my area but have some initial impressions:Pros:- Very lightweight- Great value for a carbon fiber paddle- Included bag seems very niceCons:- The graphics are not as pictured on the listing. I am not sure if this was a manufacturing error or intentional, but there is no longer any graphic along the shaft and the "bullet" part of the logo on the paddle face and bag is missing. Overall this gives it a much more plain look and I wish I had known this when I bought it.- Listing image indicated a spare clamp would be included but was notLastly, not really a pro or con but just be aware the "BPS" is printed on the back side of the paddle instead of the front. (Many SUP paddles have the logo on front)Overall it's a good value but weighing out whether to keep it given the difference in graphics. I liked the graphics in the listing much better.

Awesome sup paddle which arrived exactly on time. Initial order of this sup paddle arrived damaged (sent that way from the warehouse and not the maker) with the rounded handle completely crushed. I was hesitant to order another but it looked like it was a really good paddle so I took a chance. Glad I did. Paddle is very stiff so all your effort from your stroke goes into moving your sup. Great price for such a light and stiff sup paddle. Remains to be seen if paddle holds up, but so far so good! Thanks Bullet Proof Surf!

Quality appears good on this paddle. Finish is perfect. Standard adjustment mechanism us easy to use. Have not used on the water yet. One complaint is that the weight is 24.1 not 22 oz as advertised.Update: I have now used the paddle. It is a wonderful paddle, and I have experience with most of the $500 race paddles. The paddle is light and stiff. Blade shape is really good. Quiet entry into the water, strong pull throughout, very stable with no flutter, clean quick exit. The paddle feels very light in hand. Even at 2oz heavier than advertised, this is a great paddle and i don't think you will find anything else close at this price. Highly recommended.

This is my first SUP paddle, but I've been using a friend's and a rental paddle for 3 weeks prior. The difference is simply amazing! It's at least half the weight, the handle is much more comfortable and the carbon fiber looks really cool. I chose the adjustable because, being my first board and paddle, I am still playing with which length I like the best. I had to wear gloves with the other paddles I used before this one, but the handle on my BPS paddle is light years more comfortable. The weight of this paddle is mind blowing; it feels like a feather and makes padding much more enjoyable than plastic/alloy paddles. I consternating over spending this much on my first paddle, but am very happy I did.

Let me start here by saying I just received the paddle. I have not yet used it in the water in fact I haven't received my paddleboard yet. The reason that I'm writing this review and giving it five stars is the immediate response by the seller making sure I was 100% satisfied. The email I received from them and the concern that they showed for their product shows me that they have very responsible for what they do. As far as inspecting the paddle it looks absolutely perfect. It Is just as described 100% carbon fiber. I'm sure it we'll fit my needs and be a very good paddle. The carrying case was something a little extra that I really appreciated in that it will keep the paddle safe and less unlikely to get banged up. I will follow up the review of the actual paddle in the water once I get my paddle board and use it.
