The lamp base is about 120 years old. It was our great grandmother’s. We think she got it from one of her ancestors. We inadvertently broke the chimney. This chimney is a great fit. If we did not know the original chimney broke, we could not tell the difference.

Purchased 3 of the B&P lamp glass chimneys. Perfect for my oil lamps. Now won't have to use candles when the power goes out!

This hurricane chimney is a gorgeous, crystal clear globe that shines and sparkles with its clarity. It is substantial & well-made & will outlast thinner counterparts that shatter easily. Regrettably I returned for sizing. The interior diameter was a fraction too small for my replacement needs for a decorative electric light purchased years ago & the next available size up (3") would be too large. I recommend for its quality & beauty.

The product arrived in good shape, etc. but unfortunately was the wrong size so had to be returned. The return and credit to my account was seamless though, and much appreciated.
