These are not inexpensive but I really like the qulity.

You can buy cheap, get cheap or buy a Boyt Harness. A $2500.00 rifle deserves something better.

This is a solid, well-built, and great looking case. You can't really tell by the photo, but it is very heavily padded and the rifle fits very snugly inside. The seams are tight, the canvas exterior feels indestructible, and it looks good too. It's definitely a high-quality build. I'm not at all worried about putting this case through hell and having it look great on the other side. From what I can tell, the only difference between this case and the next case up is the shoulder strap. The strap here is a canvas/fabric strap. Unless you're generally concerned about looks, this strap will do you just fine. But for either of the Boyt Harness cases you get what you pay for. In this instance you're paying for a high-end, high-quality case and that's exactly what you're getting.For reference, I bought a Medium, which is 44". My rifle is about 43.5". The fit is very snug. The sizing seems accurate, so if you're looking for an inch or two of wiggle room you might want to think about ordering a size up. There's plenty of room for a scope up top if you have one. The side pocket is about big enough to hold a couple magazines and some rounds.

Case is very well made and fits a 20" Marlin 1894 perfectly with a nice storage pouch on the outside. Zippers seem incredibly strong but are easy enough to open without binding.

I'ts just great quality and looks like I wanted it to look. Thick padding, army like canvas material, nice leather sticking. Fits my remington 700 with scope perfectly. I read one reveiw about the zipper being lethal in scratching the gun so ive been aware of that when opening an closing. Dont see the issue yet, however it is a good thick zipper so i could see it happeneing. Ill take the quality and be careful.end conclusion-if you need a rifle bag, but you want it to be good quality, and look like it, then i cant see how you could go wrong with this.

Exactly what I was expecting from Boyt. I have several Boyt cases and I love them all. They are very well built and offer plenty of protection for your guns. Don't expect this to be bomb proof, it is not going to protect your gun from being run over by a truck, but it is a great case for protecting your gun from scratches and looks as if it will last a lifetime. The stitching is good and the lining is nice and padded. The canvas exterior is snag free, thick and durable. I recommend you look into Boyt, they make quality products.
