These are amazing winter pants! Stays really warm and really dry in the snow. Fits really well and has adjustable straps on the waistband to where I wish I'd sized up just to increase the longevity. They're decently durable too, my kiddo fell and skinned her knees but there wasn't noticable damage to the pants. She's super comfortable wearing these and they keep her warm.

Grandson says these pants are very warm and nice to wear. The feel nice when worn and he likes the velcro at the waist as he really does not like wearing a belt. They are easy for him to move around in, and while warm are not hot. He thinks they look sharp.

These ski pants are very good quality, especially for the price. They are relatively thin but are very warm, which means you aren’t weighed down by a lot of bulk. They aren’t the cheap “snow pants” material but the expensive-feeling material that is smooth to the touch. They fit according to size with regular pants worn under them. If your little run is tall though I would size up as the length is the “smallest” dimension. I would definitely get these again.

My son wore these to go sledding. I didn't realize until after, that this was ALL he wore! I thought he put his long underwear on under, but I guess not. He said he was still warm the entire time though, so these are some pretty nice pants! They are a tiny bit big on him, but he's only 10, and I got him the '12's.

True to size, nice quality outdoor adventure pants. My son will use these both for skiing and for winter hiking. Cozy with velcro adjestments at the waist on both sides. They're a solid find!

I ordered these for my kid schools field trip around the city. I didn’t want them wearing bulky multiple layers of pants and feeling heavy and clumsy as they commute around the city. So these pants were great as it’s soft sheep on the outside with fleece lining on the insides.These are waterproof and has multiple zipper pockets to keep their phone safe. The Velcro adjustable waistband are excellent to help with the fit and overall they had no complaints. These pants has knee extensions which gave them a lot of comfort being active while commuting.Overall 5 stars as these pants are well made and with great features.

This is my review of the Doruro Boys Soft Shell Pants Winter Hiking Pants. We live in Northern California where it can get quite chilly in the winter, so I got these for my 12yo to wear to school (we walk to school and even in winter, the kids spend a significant time outside). My son really likes them and says they're comfortable to wear on an everyday basis.What I like:- the quality of the material is good, the zippers run fine, and the pants aren't too bulky- the interior is lined with fleece, but it's a thin fleece that makes it comfortable to wear w/o being too bulky- the knee area has some extra space/give which is great for athletic kids how are always moving around, climbing and bending- he is also on the thin side, and these pants have soft Velcro adjustments on each side which helped with tightening the waistband. There was still some space left over, but it has belt hoops as well, so if anything we can add a belt.- you can securely hang these pants to dry from the tag/loop inside (see pic)- it has some reflective material on the zipper and exterior side of the legs. Not a lot, but it's an added bonus (see pic).A few things to keep in mind:- my son is 4'11' and these barely covered his ankles which was ok for us. And, this should be ok for skiing. Check the measurements to make sure you get the right size.- haven't been able to test yet how waterproof they are, but the material feels good and water repellant.- there is no side zipper on the bottom of the legs like some athletic pants have, so you may or not be able to fit them around a ski boot. They did fit well around hiking boots though.I will post an update review if anything changes.12/23/24 UPDATE: the material in the knee area has "smudged"/been damaged while playing. It seems that with any sliding or friction against a hard surface may cause the top liner to smudge together. Was not expecting this, but it did happen while playing at school. Since these outdoor pants are stated to be for hiking or skiing, if you stick to those sports perhaps that might not happen, but just thought I'd update my review to what we experienced.
