Why did you pick this product vs others?:These boys shorts fit true to size. The material is thin and stretchy. It has zippered pockets and pockets with velcro closures. They wash up well with no shrinkage. They're great for summer.

These manage to strike that balance. They’ve got that cool cargo look, but still feel athletic enough for when he’s out riding his scooter or running around with friends. He wore them to a recent birthday outing at a trampoline place, and they handled all that bouncing and movement just fine. The waistband fits comfortably, doesn’t dig in, and the length is right around the knee, so it’s not restrictive. What really stood out though were those zippered pockets. He carried a phone and a couple small snacks, and everything stayed put.

My son wears these shorts almost every day！whether he’s riding his bike, playing soccer in the yard, or just hanging around the house. They’re super lightweight and dry fast, which is great because he’s always getting sweaty or spilling something. The waistband is stretchy but doesn’t dig in, and they hold up well in the wash. I’ve tossed them in the dryer multiple times and they still look good. He says they’re comfy, and I like that they go with everything.

They are ok but I ordered them for a slim teen. I wouldn’t order them for him again, would have liked them fine when he was a little kid. Wouldn’t jump for joy over them even as a kid.If you are looking for a very lightweight no lining short it’s good but it’s not athleticwear. My friend thinks they are great and mentioned that she thinks they are perfect for a quick dry solution over a swim suit, I asked but for what a speedo? Definitely can’t fit a regular short under them. I am like eh? They are alright, if they had a lining I would agree with her but because they don’t and they are somewhat opaque and not found of that.The zippers are cheap in the hip pockets and not very deep. The cargo pockets don’t offer any real function they have a flap but the material feels like a cheap imitation plastic rayon nylon blend without any stretch. So anything that goes into the pockets will just flip out.I like the elastic band but it’s almost pointless since there is zero stretch in the fabric. Can easily blow out the seams with any exertion of activity. Definitely not athletic wear.Since the fabric is that sheen material they can be used as formalwear. So with a dress shirt, they will be nice looking for formal / semi formal events with a untucked polo or a cuban/ Hawaiian shirt.
