My old trailer's built in stabilizer jacks have all broken, except for one. I have a couple of random jacks I have been using, so I was excited to get a set of 4. They really work! They claim to support 6,000 lbs which is a LOT. I'm thinking that's between all 4 rather than each. Even so, they could technically lift my trailer with not problem. I'm exclusively using them to stabilize, though, as they are aluminum. However, it does give me confidence that if I need to put a bit more pressure on one due to a bump or slope, we'll be safe.Setting them in place is simple, just turn! Of course, the tighter the fit the harder it is to tighten, but that makes sense. The bars that you use to turn slide through, which helps. The threads are very long, which make them versatile, but it does mean a lot of turning sometimes - I recommend taking the bolt out and free spinning the nut before placing back under. Saves a lot of time.

We have a 42' destination trailer that is set up on our property. It likes to wobble a bit since as we all know, campers are still supported in the center by inflated tires and are stabilized on the ends with the jacks. These virtually eliminated the wobble when moving around inside. These are not heavy duty - but most stabilizers are not since they are designed to simply "stabilize" the trailer. These are a little small, but as expected since you're getting four of these puppies at a great price. We placed them about 1/3 down each end of the RV in front and rear of the axles. We also placed these on cement blocks, along with a piece of 2x6 squares between the jacks and the frame to secure and "grip" the frame.Would I support a car with these while changing a tire? Um - no. I am unsure why some reviews expect them to do so. They are not made for that. I use them on the RV because that is what they are made for - and these do a fantastic job of stabilizing the RV.

I own a little teardrop trailer. I have been using some heavy duty car jacks to help stabilize my trailer. These are heavy and take up lots of space. These stabilizer jacks are perfect for my application. Due to their packability and light weight I can carry all 4 jacks that will allow me to stabilize the trailer in camping sites that are not quite level. Currently I use two jacks in the front of the trailer to help support and stabilize the yoke. It might be overkill, but it does provide me with peace of mind. Despite being light weight, they appear to be doing a good job of stabilizing the entire trailer. My trailer is short and the axle is near the backend, so stabilizing the backend is not needed, but as I stated, I will have two extra stabilizers If I need them. The other thing I like about the stabilizers is that they are easy to adjust. Once I get to the trailer leveled, it is easy to adjust the height of the stabilizers, even if one side of the trailer is a different height than the other. I still use boards to place the stabilizers on when the camp site is dirt or loose gravel.Overall, I am impressed by these stabilizer jacks.

The package came with four aluminum stands and for steel jack screws. setting them up is very simple and effective for light weight stabilization. I want to be clear on this, they say they are rated for 6000 pounds, but I would not recommend they be used to use as vehicle safety stands while working under a car/ Molded aluminum does not by its nature have a high crush strength and could collapse under overweight conditions. So pay attention to the manufacturers warnings. They are really good for stabilizing the corners of travel trailers, not supporting them but stabilizing them. The aluminium is light weight and nest easily for storage. The jack screws are separate and are also easily stored. The jack screw merely sits on top of the stand with a nut hole to permit raising and lowering the jack. It is simple and effective and for its intended use, I highly recommend it, but once again I stress “for its intended use”. Well worth the money.

Just about useless unless you are parked on a flat level paved surface. These will not work for leveling your trailer on uneven ground. As stated these are not for lifting, and calling them jacks is very misleading. I would not trust these to be the only thing supporting a load. I also wouldn't want to fully extend them. The weight rating is a joke as I doubt they are capable of holding that much weight without buckling or being outright crushed under the weight. If you have a very small light weight trailer they will likely be fine, but otherwise I would look for better solutions.

All four sides of the base of each of these light stands say "FOR STABILIZING TRAVEL TRAILERS ONLY".I'm bewildered. If these can support 3 tons each, like many jack stands that are marketed for the support of cars, WHY are these restricted only to the stabilization of travel trailers? Might the 6,000 lb capacity claim mean that is the capacity of all four stands combined? No, it seems that the claim is for the capacity of each individual stand. Sets of four apparently identical stands are offered on Amazon under other brand names. One of those offerings says that these jacks "can support up to 7500 lbs of weight each. (The marking of 6000 pounds on the bottom of the stands is to indicate the minimum bearing capacity, while the actual verified capacity falls within the range of 7500-8000 lbs.)"The square base of these stands is stated to be 6.3 x 6.3", which is just shy of the 6.7 x 7.3" base size of 3 ton jack stands for cars that I earlier bought on Amazon.Well, we've been explicitly warned: do NOT use these to support a car. We don't know why or how these would fail, but we should assume that they WILL fail.I guess I'm satisfied with these. Although they are light and inexpensive, the weight they are claimed to be able to hold is tremendous. I guess that makes them a good value, but I don't actually believe the claim.I will soon have to crawl under some of my vehicles to do substantial repairs. I can't find the 3 ton jack stands for cars that I earlier purchased from Amazon. I'll find some other way to block them up.

We do a lot of camping in our vintage travel trailer. We attend rallies where everyone presents their trailer as it would have been back when their trailers were new. This type of design is an exact duplicate of what would have been found in our 60s trailer. We have had 2 of the original jacks but needed 2 more. When this was offered we place the order. They arrived quickly and were perfect matches for the originals. The 4 stands stack together for ease of storage. We use on of the screw lifts to hold them together and place the remaining 3 up from the bottom of the jack stands. They do have one thing that I have never seen on an old jack and that is a rubber, anti slip, pad that snaps over the top of the screw's contact point. If one wants to remove these for display purposes, you just pop them off. I do like these because slippage of the jack and trailer contact points can be an issue in a trailer where people are moving about within. The build quality is spot on!! These are very well made and will last for as long as this trailer will be inservice and probably well beyond that. They go from 11" up to about 17", are about 6" square at the base, the handle for adjusting slips back and forth through the screw portion making it easier to get full torque on the handle when making the adjustment. I do recommend some grease on the threads to ease the lifting of the trailer. (Not a lot, just enough to lubricate the threads.)All-in-all a very nice set of vintage style jacks that will be a nice fit for even the newer trailers. We are very pleased with them.
